Proposed deletion of Itsy Productions

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Itsy Productions, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No assertion of notability (only says the group has made one game), little context given (does not say what kind of games the company makes).

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

Also, you appear to be the owner of Itsy Productions, which means you are in a conflict of interest regarding this material. Wikipedia discourages editors from writing articles about themselves or their business. Please contact me at my talk page if you have any questions. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 14:47, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If people have written about your game in reliable sources, you need to add those sources to demonstrate why your company is notable. Wikipedia has very strict notability standards; please read those two links for more information.
Also, Wikipedia is not a hosting space for advertising a product or soliciting feedback on a product. WP:What Wikipedia is not has more information.
Unfortunately, because of these policies, I think it is very likely that your article will be deleted. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 15:06, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion for Itsy Productions

[edit]

I have started a discussion about possibly deleting your article, Itsy Productions; the discussion may be viewed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Itsy Productions. The reason for this discussion is that this company does not appear to meet Wikipedia's notability standards for companies, which require the company to have independent coverage in mainstream third-party sources that are not affiliated with the company. You are welcome to participate in the discussion, but please also take the time to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's core policies and the notability policies (Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)) before commenting. Thank you, rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 19:04, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
