Pal-Kshatriya

[edit]

If you take a look at the article's talk page, the information was not removed from that "with no reason". It was removed because 90% of it was unsourced. Sourcing is not optional on Wikipedia. Any statement which may be challenged must be sourced. That information has been in the article for ages with no sources. Furthermore, a number of the "citations" in the article aren't sources, just notes, another bunch fail WP:RS, and others don't contain enough information to even know the book being cited is. Unless the information verified by reliable sources within about 1 week, I will re-remove all of it. Qwyrxian (talk) 10:27, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to review WP:RS, which are our guidelines for reliable sources. Since no sources have been added to this article to verify this info, I have re-removed all of it. Please do not re-add anything without providing sources that meet our guideines. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:38, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Qwyrxian has already explained that you need to cite reliable sources for information that you add to articles, but you have added more poorly cited information again. Can you please ensure that information that you add in the future meets our policies and guidelines? This means that you need reliable books, not a vague mention of 'Mend Jogis'. Pal-kshatriya

[edit]

Sorry for taking so long; I've finally decided to go ahead and merge that information into Pal-Kshatriya. Now, other editors may still object, in which case we need to continue the conversation on the article's talk page. Note that I cleaned up the references--we don't provide URLs to direct pages in books, because they don't work for most users--for example, while you may be able to access a certain page, someone in another country may not. Or they may be able to access it a few times, but after that Google Books locks them out. However, if you do have page numbers, please let me know and there is a way I can add that info. Qwyrxian (talk) 04:08, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot Qwyrxian. I'll try and give you the page number of the books has been used here for references. And I'll try to find more information with reliable references to add into the section. Thanks again!! --Jalaj Singh 13:08, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Further Pal-kshatriya issues

[edit]

You'll need to take further issues on that article back to that article's talk page. The only reason I created the sub-page in my userspace was so that we could have an easy place to do ongoing edits to a big chunk of the article (that didn't actually work correctly, but such is life). But please open a new section on Talk:Pal-kshatriya. Don't copy a chunk of the article and alter it there, just explain what you think should be changed with references. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pal-Kshatriya, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Guard and Protector. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
