Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Jadaun, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 12:09, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cinema of CD Movies requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WWGB (talk) 12:30, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jadaun

[edit]

You are still making incredibly poor edits to Jadaun, including your continued insistence on violating our policy concerning biographies of living people. You may not be aware that articles such as this are subject to sanctions and that inappropriate behaviour can result in a broad rage of administrative actions. I attach the formal notification below. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 13:22, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Mangalayatan University, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the page that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mean as custard (talk) 20:17, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Brajastha Maithil Brahmin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Your addition to Hathras Fort has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. The article Mohit Ahlawat has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello.

Thank you for being clear about your previous account. While it doesn't exactly comply with Wikipedia's policies, I personally don't mind if a person comes back after a block as long as he is committed to learn from past mistakes and not repeat them.
However, the first article I just looked at was Mehmil where I had to note that the complete plot summary was copied from the IMDb. You attributed it so I can see your intention to get it right, however substantial quotes like this nonetheless violate IMDb's copyright and our policies. Quotations must be clearly marked and must be brief (See WP:Quotation#Copyrighted material and fair use).

Wikipedia is committed to be 'the free encyclopedia' so it takes copyright concerns very seriously. Any mistakes you made can be repaired, but it will be an effort. What I'll need you to do is that you try to inform yourself about the copyright policies on Wikipedia (try WP:Copyrights#Contributors' rights and obligations and WP:FAQ/Copyright). You must make an effort to get it right from now on. In particular, if you ever find you are copy/pasting any material, you should stop immediately and think very hard about whether that will comply with copyright and policies -- it rarely will! When in doubt, ask!

It would also be nice if you could show your commitment by going through your own contributions and removing or carefully rewriting any copied material.

What do you think?

Any comment? Amalthea 13:12, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Since you chose to ignore my inquiries I saw no choice but to block your account for now. I still hope you choose to discuss the aforementioned issues with me so that we can resolve them constructively. I know that Wikipedia lacks coverage of Indian movies and would benefit from your continued contributions. Amalthea 21:42, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Proposed deletion of Virpal Singh Raghav

[edit]

The article Virpal Singh Raghav has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged as such for over three years, this article is simply not notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
