works of Elfriede Jelinek

[edit]

It is not Wikipedia policy to create empty articles such as you have done for the works of Elfriede Jelinek. Linking to a missing article creates a red link and emphasises the need for an article. Creating an empty article can give a false impression that an article exists. -- RHaworth 08:32, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Before the Revolution

[edit]

Hi Jainituos. You created the Before the Revolution page over a week ago with its only content being the Bertolucci template. Why no definition/lead/stub? Jonathan F 01:27, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Bryan Singer

[edit]

Hi, it looks like Template:Bryan Singer was deleted through TfD. You can see the discussion that led to its deletion here. — TheKMantalk 20:43, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

From Wikipedia:Navigational templates, i gather it should have been listed at that page, and catagorized. Possibly that would help, if you should decide to recreate it. I'd also recommend mentioning its development at WikiProject Films maybe? (I didnt see it, so i dont know. just suggesting). -Quiddity 23:38, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alain Tanner machine translation

[edit]

It's not a big deal, but I think it's generally frowned upon to cut-and-paste machine translations without cleaning them up as you appear to have done in the Alain Tanner article. Figuring out that that garbled text came from the German Wikipedia article, and then cleaning it up so that it made any sense at all in English, probably took longer to do than simply translating it afresh. -- Rbellin|Talk 20:13, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
