Rollback
Hello Jahiegel, I have granted rollback rights to your account. The reason for this is that, after a review of some of your contributions, I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended use of reverting vandalism: I do not believe you will abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. Acalamari 21:29, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Done. Sorry about that. Acalamari 22:51, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Ha, ha. :) Well, issues like this are ones best responding to as soon as possible rather than delaying them. It only takes about ten seconds (if that) to remove rollback, and about 30 seconds to write a response. :) Acalamari 22:58, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

The "possess eight arms and edit with them all" comment made me laugh. :) Thanks for that. Acalamari 00:00, 18 January 2008 (UTC) |
My RfA
Hey there, I'm writing to inform you that I have withdrawn my request for adminship, which was currently standing at 11 supports, 22 opposes and 6 neutrals. This count could have been so much better if I had understood policy, although I believe that 17 questions is a lot to ask of a user's first RfA. I will take on all comments given at the RfA and will endeavour to meet the high expectations of the RfA voters. WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDENplay it cool. 21:12, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for your welcome. I have already had a chance to read the material that you linked. :) Oore (talk) 20:13, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I think "sigh" just about sums it up. I'm not directly getting involved with Chuck's little forum shopping expeditions, I'm just keeping an eye on his edits to mainspace and template space at this point. Thanks for the heads up, Gwernol 20:49, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Chuck block
Jahiegel, thanks for the kind words of support on this - I appreciate them. I agree that Chuck either is getting close to, or has passed the point where the community's patience is getting exhausted. The last time he was blocked his persistent forums shopping led to a similar suggestion. I suspect he may bring this upon himself in the near future. It is a shame since, I agree, his intentions are good, but he seems persistently incapable of productive editing. Anyway, thanks again for the support, Gwernol 07:53, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
You seem to be under the impression that I'm MFD'ing autograph books in general (judging by your comment). I personally don't have an opinion on that, but what I am against is having lists that encourage users to sign other's pages. I guess it could be considered a form of canvassing as well... · AndonicO Hail! 03:25, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I see you've changed your comments. · AndonicO Hail! 03:26, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you muchly for your support in my recent request for adminship, which was successfully closed on 76%, finishing at 73 supports, 23 opposes and 1 neutral. The supports were wonderful, and I will keep in mind the points made in the useful opposes and try to suppress the Larry David in me! Now I'm off to issue some cool down blocks, just to get my money's worth!
Kidding btw. All the best, Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 11:47, 5 March 2008 (UTC) |
My RfB
I wanted to personally thank you, Joe, for your support in my recent RfB. I am thankful and appreciative that you feel that I am worthy of the trust the community requires of its bureaucrats, and I am especially grateful that you took the time and effort to look at my body of work and my history, and make your judgment based on my actions and words, as opposed to someone else's mistake, and then taking the time to articulate those thoughts during the discussion. I hope to continue to behave in a way that maintains your trust in me and my actions. I have heard the community's voice that they require more of a presence at RfA's of prospective bureaucrats, and I will do my best over the near future to demonstrate such a presence and allow the community to see my philosophy and practices in action. I hope I can continue to count on your support when I decide to once again undergo an RfB. If you have any suggestions, comments, or constructive criticisms, please let me know via talkpage or e-mail. Thank you again. -- Avi (talk) 17:09, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
My request for bureaucratship
Dear Joe, thank you for taking part in my RfB. As you may know, it was not passed by bureaucrats.
I would, however, like to thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns about my candidacy. Unfortunately very few of the opposes gave me advice on points I should improve upon (bar the examples of incivility), and I ask you now, very humbly, to visit my talkpage, should you have any concerns about any of my actions here.
I remain eager to serve you as an administrator and as an editor. ~ Riana ⁂ 07:08, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks and sorry, thought i messed up the indented comment on the list, but couldn;t remember the right sequence.

HP MfD
My apologies; this was my first time processing one, and I had followed the cue of another editor who added it to the HP dab page. I have since found out he was wrong toadd it, and I was wrong to select the miscellany for deletion. I apologize if my mistake harshed your calm. Your reply provided illumination as to my error in thinking. Thanks for that; it is deeply appreciated. :) - Arcayne (cast a spell) 19:22, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
FYI
Moved your comment so it sits in order - trout me if there was a reason for it being where it was. :) Your comments (once I read them a few times for understanding ;) were quite good ones, too. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 00:56, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
My RFA has closed
My RFA that you weighed in on earlier has closed as no consensus to promote, at a final tally of 120/47/13. I thank you for your feedback and comments there, and I'm going to be considering all the various advice and comments presented. I might end up at RFA again some day, or not. If you see me there again in the future, perhaps you might consider a Support !vote. If not, not, and no hard feelings. The pen is still mightier than the mop! See you around, and thanks again. My Recent Rfa
Although you opposed me in my recent RFA I will still say thanks as from your comments and the other users comments that opposed me I have made a todo list for before my next RFA. I hope I will have resolved all of the issues before then and I hope that you would be able to support me in the future. If you would like to reply to this message or have any more suggestions for me then please message me on my talk page as I will not be checking back here. Thanks again. ·Add§hore· Talk/Cont 16:25, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
