Speedy deletion of "Understanding managed futures"

[edit]

A page you created, Understanding managed futures, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is obvious advertising or promotional material.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Deadly∀ssassin 16:43, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I note your comment on my talk page regarding this article, which I have deleted. As an off-topic remark, it is usual to place comments at the bottom of a page, not at the top. To answer your question in a wholly straightforward way; your article reads as an advertisement. It advertises the DVD, it advertises the presenter of the DVD and it advertises the Company producing it. If you wish to challenge my action, which you or any editor is fully at liberty to do with any administrator action, the place to go is WP:DRV.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 11:52, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
