Which English to use?
[edit]Hi! I saw your comment on Scientizzle's talk page, but since he's on wikibreak I thought I'd step in. You can read the official policy at WP:ENGVAR. If an article has a strong connection to a particular country (e.g., Harry Potter, Abraham Lincoln), the spelling should reflect that country's standards. There are other rules, of course, but the most important this is not to change a word just because you spell it differently. If the article uses "colour" throughout, it should stay "colour". You can, however, change words to make the spelling consistent throughout the article--for instance, if it's spelled "manoeuvre" in the first and third paragraphs but "manuever" in the second.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! You can also put {{helpme}} on your user talk page along with your question, and a friendly editor will be by soon to help out. And don't forget to sign your posts using ~~~~! Cheers! -- Merope 22:24, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

MGS4
[edit]Hi. Thanks for reach me before making changes. Please feel free to make changes, i`ve found that my english lack refinement, as you probably watched at my talk page, the very first thing someone told me was that my grammar was bad. hahahaha. This is was i was trying to say: Before i edited the article it said that the name of the game hinted a participation of the patriots, i found this not only too obvious but very poor sourced given the fact that in the trailer the colonel Campbell say "The patriots are involved too"; that along with the name can be a solid hint for the size of the role of the patriots in the game. I hope to have cleared your doubts and again feel free to make the proper chages to make the article better. Zidane tribal 23:35, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
re. Citroen ZX instrument panel
[edit]>hey there! i noticed on the ZX talk page that you owned ZXs. You wouldnt happen to know how to replace the dashboard light would you? It's a bit hard to see what the speed is at night! Thanks!
Just what I would like to know - the speedo is the only bit of the panel I can see at night! The Haynes manual gives a description of the disassembly of the instrument panel - seems like a major job, requiring also the removal of the steering wheel. Once you can get access to the back of the unit, you can replace bulbs, but it looks to be a job of a couple of hours, and have not dared to tackle it yet. --Ndaisley 19:08, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Leamington Spa
[edit]Hi Jackacon! An article you have been concerned with has now been significantly overhauled to bring it in line with Wiki policy, guidelines, and prose style. However, without first-hand subject knowledge, the copyeditor may have left some items or citations for further clarification. If you can help with these issues please see Talk:Leamington Spa, address the different points if you can, and leave any comments there. Thanks.
