Orphaned non-free media (File:Deadshot1.jpg)

Unprotection request

Hi J Greb, how would you feel about lifting the indef semi-protection of Witwicky family (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) to see if it's still needed? It's been more than a year so I'm hoping that the blocked user will have given up. What do you think? Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 00:31, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

I was coming here to ask the same for Mutant (Marvel Comics)‎. It's been ten months now. 2001:558:6045:A0:391F:B005:179D:8DD9 (talk) 05:59, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Witwicky family seems like a case of seeing if things hove settled down.
As for Mutant (Marvel Comics)‎... since the only requests for edits since it was locked have been for exactly the reason it was locked - fans wanting to expand or complete the in-universe "Omega Mutant" list - there is every reason to leave it locked.

Sorry for your loss

Sorry to read about your loss J Greb, if there's anything I can do please let me know. Hiding T 17:06, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Hiding said it well. Take care : ) - jc37 17:57, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, to both of you. But I'm doing OK at this point. The rough spot was last week right after we had to put our dog down (and I put up what seemed the most appropriate tag), but I'm evening out to where I was.
Again, thanks.

Ah, that's terrible. Our cat was run over about six months ago and it was the biggest gut punch, you have my sympathy. Take care! Hiding T 11:18, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

User:Shawnee Smith

I wanted to ask why a blocked user Shawnee?
HAMACHI (talk) 08:43, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

I've got a feeling that it has to do with this.
Long story shortish:
  • Shawnee Smith has a fixation on Jessica Drew.
  • They caught flack for uploading image improperly, mainly replacing fair use image with their own hand-drawn copies of the art. They wound up blocked because they either could not or would not understand the ground rules on the English Wikipedia.
  • They have sockpuppeted to evade the block to and lied through their teeth to try an meatpuppet.
  • Every time they have been told that this is not the Russian Wikipedia and that they pet article is not going to be re-worked to a mirror to the RU Wiki version.
  • They have also disrupted Commons with this and seem to be hammering other on the RU Wiki with it - Yes, it looks like "Ultimate" is the same editor.
Frankly, I'm really tired of this. HAMACHI, take a look at WP:MEAT. If you have troubles with understanding it, try asking some of the editors listed in Category:User ru-3, Category:User ru-4, Category:User ru-5, or Category:User ru-N - there should be someone there that can help you. Coming here in Shawnee's stead is not a good idea. Thanks.
- J Greb (talk) 01:32, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

Come on, I can not replace Shawnee, she just asked me for help, the more I'm just wondering, I can not help her if you do not really know the reasons for her locks. Sorry by the way, if something is not clear, I just have the English is not perfect yet, so how would it not sound ridiculous, I am writing to you through Google translate. I understand you, and so I think it would be better if the story about this image to close. My answer to the above mentioned questions, I asked J Greb because Shawnee Owned mentioned it, so I decided to contact Owned by you.
P.S. I also wanted to say to all those who work on Wikipedia Many thanks, you are all very well tried and try on it, not like in the Russian Wikipedia, there is, so to say there is still work to do, a lot of interesting articles not written in English or that art is always there, so I was going to finish up this Russian Wikipedia slit status as the English version.
HAMACHI (talk) 13:56, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

skhavnee wanted to ask, when it is released, even if you are not connected to its locked, can anyone ask?
HAMACHI (talk) 01:16, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

With Halloween

Happy All Saints J Greb. I wish you a lot of sweets and little scary's. > :)
HAMACHI (talk) 05:10, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of minor X-Men characters, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Chris Cooper and Time traveler (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
