Hi, I've left you a message at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Scarecrow102]. The Cavalry (Message me) 18:10, 2 May 2012 (UTC)

The Avengers (2012 film)

I hate to bother you, but there's a backlog at the 3RR noticeboard at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring going back to 00:55, 2 May 2012. Plkrtn has made three reverts starting at 09:15, 3 May 2012 at The Avengers (2012 film), which both I and TriiipleThreat have reverted. His edit isn't supported by consensus; in fact, three or four editors are against it. Because of the long backlog at the 3RR board, I want to give an admin a head's up separately. Thanks for any attention to this. With regards, --Tenebrae (talk) 14:19, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

I think it might be time for a indefinite protection on this page, IP vandalism has started again.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 14:15, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

Similar tomes

There are three related tomes coming out this summer: one on religion, one on psychology, and one on, um, well, it's hard to pin down how WB would classify his work this time. His previous Bat-book focused on culture. I've been in touch with the other authors. Nice, smart guys. Doczilla STOMP! 20:55, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Hrm... I wish I could remember the exact title, but I caught the absolute tail end of an interview this mornin on CBC with a woman who has a psych profile book coming out this summer... - J Greb (talk) 21:00, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
And a bit of digging at the CBC website... the program was Day 6, the segment titled "The Psychology of Superheroes". The person interviewed was Dr Robin Rosenberg and the book due in June What's The Matter With Batman?. Looks like they still have a link to the audio at [1]

Hi, I'm the party, which changed the last page of the Spider Woman, and I apologize for my rudeness. I just wanted to let some of the participants knew how it looks Ultimate Spider Woman.--Hawnee94 (talk) 12:52, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

Adding that or the Avenger's line up image is just adding decoration. Something that cannot be done with non-free content. - J Greb (talk) 11:05, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
I suspect that this is also User:Shawnee Smith. 129.33.19.254 (talk) 14:53, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

I'm sorry for the fact that many photos added in the article, and for the fact that the picture into the article I just don't know how the photo download!--Hawnee94 (talk) 16:10, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

If you don't know, don't try. And given what you have done, please stop. - J Greb (talk) 22:55, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

Well, well, I beg you to let bedet picture Ultimate Spider Woman, and though I go out. I only came here just for this. I ask! I ask! I ask!--Hawnee94 (talk) 11:58, 5 May 2012 (UTC) Please accept my apologies--90.155.142.140 (talk) 14:53, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

  • By the way look in the Russian Wikipedia, I am there you left a message, and please see the Russian version of the article Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew). This article helped me to make other participants!--Hawnee94 (talk) 12:04, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
To keep it simple:
  1. This is not the Russian Wikipedia. The guidelines and policies may not be the same so what is at Женщина-паук (Джессика Дрю) may not be appropriate at Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew).
  2. You have pretty much confirmed that you are Shawnee Smith (talk · contribs) and have been indefinitely blocked from editing on the English Wikipedia for competency issues. You current actions will lead to your new account also being blocked for block evasion.
  3. Based on your Russian user talk page - Обсуждение участницы:Shawnee - your issues seem to be a fundamental inability to "get" policies and guidelines about what should go into articles. You seem to be coming close to being blocked on the Russian Wikipedia as well.
- J Greb (talk) 14:37, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

You don't have sent a message, and I only wanted to if only one photo to add Ultimate Spider Woman, but download the can't, because you're on the English Wikipedia is not so.--Hawnee94 (talk) 19:50, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Almost... you still haven't got the concept of acceptable size, naming, or sourcing. At the moment it looks like you are relying on ComicVine - not really the best place to snag images from since it has a shit load of fan altered and fan made art. It also does not provide any sourcing.
You also need to look at WP:PLOT - avoid going overboard on the plot - and WP:EL - fan sites generally don't get put in the external links.
- J Greb (talk) 22:39, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

That is, in http://paradisa.wikia.com/wiki/Jessica_Drew_(Spider-Woman) --Hawnee94 (talk) 14:44, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

Ultimate Spider-Woman Clone Saga

Don't know why don't you take this word Clone Saga? After all, Jessica appeared in many stories!--Hawnee94 (talk) 14:47, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

You've hit my patience threshold.
  • You are obsessively focusing on a singular point in a singular article.
  • You are showing that you cannot or will not use acceptable sources.
  • You are pulling images from unacceptable source sites.
  • You appear more an more to be an editor evading an indefinite block rather than trying to ask for your account to be unblocked.
You have the option right now to stop entirely or your secondary account will be blocked.
- J Greb (talk) 21:28, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

I ask you to help me!File:Ультиматум.jpg and File:Jessica Drew (Earth-700459) 002.jpg. Put the image in the article Jessica Drew! I locked! Instead of just words, I want to explain how it looks Ultimate Spider Woman. --Hawnee94 (talk) 17:57, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Kaine as Scarlet Spider

Why did you remove the image of Kaine as the new Scarlet Spider from the Kaine article? I think it's a good addition to the article, but I trust you as a good editor so I didn't want to revert the removal without some discussion. The caption left something to be desired, but that can be changed. The file name was odd, but I can move it. Spidey104 14:17, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

I really need to get better about checking your edit history before I post on a talk page when discussing things with you.
I now see that you blocked the user who added that file as a sockpuppet, so that's why you would revert any of his edits. However, in this specific case I think he did make a beneficial addition. If I fix the above mentioned problems would it be fine if I added the image back to the Kaine article? Spidey104 19:49, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
To be honest, I've got little problem with an image being added. If:
  • It's under the file size limits - 250 to 300px across
  • It's actually sourced to something other than a Wikia or ComicVine. If that is solicit art, there should still be an accessible copy at CBR or Newsarama.
  • And it's uploaded with an English title.
It also looks like the best we'll get under the Project's "Character image" guides... I think.

Archenemy

I want to let you know that IP 64.90.250.252 has been edit warring over the term "archenemy" on various articles. I think you have dealt with this situation before. 129.33.19.254 (talk) 18:39, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, but i sincerely do not know to go about carrying out edits to Wikipedia the correct way.I just want to let you know I have no intention of malice or violation concerning Wikipedia and I just want the best of things :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheRoD1988 (talkcontribs) 04:11, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Comics Guaranty

Hi J.

There have been more shenanigans at Comics Guaranty. I've reverted, but I'm wondering if there are better options. I see that you've blocked the disruptive editor before, temporarily. Obviously, dialogue is preferred over blocking, but given that the situation has been going on unabated since at least 2007, it seems to me that further progress is unlikely. I'm not sure how to escalate the issue. So, here I am.

Cheers, GentlemanGhost (talk) 23:46, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Heh. That was quick! Thanks for looking into it. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 23:51, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
It's a bit of a round-robin.
I'd fully protected the page in Feb since it was a never ending POV push/slant/advert run by an SPA. I moved it back last month 1) hoping the shenanigan had passed and 2) 0pen$0urce's request.
If the SPA is back, the article may need to be locked again.

Wikistalker

Hi, J. I'm sorry to ask, but User:Stuart.Jamieson, who behaved obsessively months ago at Talk:Demi Moore by prying into my personal life, and who was following me around Wikipedia until I begged him to stop, has appeared at Talk:X-Men: First Class and is making threats against my privacy once again. I hope you're around, and I ask you to please tell him to stop doing so — that my private life is my private life and he was no right to "out" me. Please. --Tenebrae (talk) 22:30, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

The Avengers (2012 film) again

User Tenebrae is referring to your claim on the talk page that "the consensus seems to support the current material" to keep "classified under the name" in the lead. I'm unsure how you came to this conclusion, as detailed inspection of the comments show that of nine editors contributing to the discussion, only two have shown support for this wording. Tenebrae's claim that "Disney/Marvel has made it clear that the film's UK title is Marvel's Avengers Assemble" has been undermined by the fact that both Disney and Marvel have on several occasions referred to the title as "Marvel Avengers Assemble" (see links provided under the "Reclassified or retitled" section). Tenebrae is also claiming that "the BBFC got it wrong", but that's very hard to believe. "Marvel Avengers Assemble" is almost certainly the title which Disney UK submitted to the BBFC. Can you revisit the talk page in light of this ? Thanks in advance. Barry Wom (talk) 13:24, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

CGC stuff

I don't know if you noticed, but the stuff about CGC that User:Younoclue keeps adding to Comic book is the same stuff that User:Sorryimlate added a short time ago. CüRlyTüRkeyTalkContribs 01:58, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Megatron (disambiguation)

Does this page still need protection? Megatron (disambiguation) was renamed from Megatron, and the page was protected when it was named "Megatron", which it is no longer, so wouldn't seem to require protection, since the title is no longer appropriate for the abuse it suffered when undisambiguated. 70.24.251.208 (talk) 10:26, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Please accept my apologies--90.155.142.140 (talk) 13:58, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

If you are talking about removing the # from the links, whenever I do that, I'd have to clear my cache so it won't be remembered in my browser search seeing as I am on Mozilla Firefox. As for the update for Aries, it was to expand the plot for the version seen in Marvel Anime. For the reference to Lion-Mane in a commercial was just miscellaneous info unless you prefer to list the section under commercials. Rocket Raccoon's part was just sorting the upcoming television appearance from the video game appearance. Rtkat3 (talk) 6:40, May 1 2012 (UTC)

I will remember this. As for the edit summaries, I will have to either add the info in there until they are cleared by the next cache clearing. Rtkat3 (talk) 7:00, May 1 2012 (UTC)
(clearing... I hope) - J Greb (talk) 22:10, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
