My X-men Files
Then please correct my mistakes, because I don't know this issue of upload in wikipedia. Thanks.Krlzh (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:11, 5 July 2009 (UTC).
Ok, I confess where I downloaded this files but please don't delet them. The source is media.comicvine.com not wikia.com. Please read the message of this girl or boy Pabbis cindy; if you remove the images wikipedia and over all you will be look bad. Please think it.Thanks.Krlzh (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:55, 5 July 2009 (UTC).
- No, by removing images protected under copyright, Wikipedia looks good. Abiding by laws protecting intellectual copyright and creative freedom can only improve the reputation of the project. ThuranX (talk) 15:28, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Can you fix this template. This template has been tampered with and a lot of original stuff that should be there dissapeared and with a few new stuff on it. Possibly it's being worked at by somebody but for right now it needs to be fixed and as it was. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.145.217.182 (talk) 19:36, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Blackest Night
Is this image okay? --DrBat (talk) 01:38, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- That works... though I'd go with 300px - it's within fair use and it allows a slightly "better look" when a reader clics on it as a link.
- ...also, any idea what the variant ratio was? 1:1 or one of the standard incentives, 1:10 or 1:25?.
- - J Greb (talk) 01:55, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll upload a larger version.
- According to Wizard and eBay, it's 1:25. --DrBat (talk) 15:17, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- So in the future, should my images be 300px and 250? --DrBat (talk) 17:10, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- My general defaults?
- Comic book/Graphic novel/TPB cover - 300px
- Comics book front & back cover spread - ~400px
- Art only - 300px only if it's going to be used in an infobox, other wise 250px
- Prose novel covers - 200-250px. The "Book" infobox defaults to 200px image so 300 seems an argumentative waste

Mergers
Just for reference, not every single merger needs to go through a proposal, especially in cases where absolutely nobody is going to answer. You should really only revert in a case where there is likely to actually be some sort of dispute or if you personally dislike it. Doing so just for the sake of forcing a discussion is generally overly bureaucratic. TTN (talk) 23:15, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

I think you might want to consider forming a Batman: Task Force. There is enough going on that some coordination might be helpful, - Arcayne (cast a spell) 14:22, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Howdy. I just reverted Template:Infobox building, because I believe the most recent edit broke it. user:J aka justen (talk) 22:03, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
I was a bit confused at the category as I spotted it, which is why I removed it together with the template. Is there a reason that it is called "Discussion of future comics" instead of just "Future comics"? The former sounds like a talk page category (and the talk pages indeed use the category as well), and not one for articles. --Conti|✉ 23:02, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Generally the articles or sections amount to discussions of upcoming issues, events, or series, so I defaulted back to what was used by the template.
- Thinking about it though, Category:Unpublished comics or Category:Yet to be published comics would be better fits.
- - J Greb (talk) 01:44, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Well, all our articles are discussions about something, in a way, so I would very much prefer Category:Unpublished comics. Another thing is that categories shouldn't both include talk pages and article pages, so either the talk pages should be removed from the category and the category renamed, or the article pages should be removed to make the category a talk page category (if one is needed). --Conti|✉ 10:05, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Alt text for images
After this revert of yours, I decided I didn't know enough of the finer points of the alt text reasoning, I opened a discussion about the edit on the guideline discussion page, and thought you might be interested in looking at it.
For my part, I don't mind an alt text; I just think its far too involved, and trails into OR. I am hoping we can trim it along the lines as was discussed. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 03:03, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Delap.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Delap.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 03:36, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Spider-Man
A lot of these I didn't put there so I am not sure why your telling me this. I did do some of those supporting characters. I do agree with you about Leila Davis I will delete that for you. I don't agree about Silver Sable she should belong there. And Firestar being there I think is because she was introduced in a Spider-Man cartoon. Also Eddie Brock and Anti-Venom is same person (And not to mention in the same page) so I don't think that matters. I didn't put Toxin or Morbius on there. But I think they are fine where they are at. Morbius was originally a villian of Spider-Man and Toxin is in his universe since he's related to the symbiotes. Your'e right about Spider-girl and Jessica Drew. The most questionable for me is the new Brand New Day villians to be on there. (Menace and Mr. Negative) I am not sure they should be on there. Anyways I was trying to create something like the Batman enemies box had so there wouldn't be any adding on unnecessary characters. I do agree about Spenser Smythe he's dead anyways but he was important for the origin of Alistaire Smythe and I did not put Mr. Negative down anyways. I do agree about the code and civilian names but I didn't start that I just followed along.Captain Virtue (talk) 14:45, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
