User talk:JGroff13
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, JGroff13, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you edited was Real Estate (band), which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! You can also just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Armbrust, B.Ed. WrestleMania XXVIII The Undertaker 20–0 17:58, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Fort Lean 2012.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Fort Lean 2012.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 14:46, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm ESkog. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Ducktails (band), because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, (ESkog)(Talk) 16:36, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- It also was quite clearly not ready for articlespace, so I have moved it back to being a WP:USERSPACEDRAFT (✉→BWilkins←✎) 17:27, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]You have been blocked for move-warring. As noted above, the "article" is a) not in your personal userspace and b) is not ready to be a live article yet. When this block expires, please do not try and move the draft again until it's actually ready AND you have the permission of the editor in whose userspace it resides (✉→BWilkins←✎) 18:19, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Possibly unfree files
[edit]Some of the files that you have uploaded may be unfree. See Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files/2014 February 26#OTRS pending since November. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:24, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
