I noticed that you put {{pd-self}} on Image:N2212439918 33399.jpg. {{pd-self}} should only be used on an emblem if you were the person who created the emblem. Did you actually create that emblem? -- kenb215 talk 13:15, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:N197800643 31399726 4154.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:N197800643 31399726 4154.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Speedy deletion notification

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Welton Galaxy Football Club, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Hi, JF. I tagged your article because it makes no assertion of the notability of the club. By the guidelines, you will need, at a minimum, to cite two reliable references. See above for links to the various guidelines. They will tell you, among other things, what constitutes a reliable reference. -Arch dude 14:53, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, JFJ. Thanks for continuing to contribute to Wikipedia. I'm sorry that your initial contribution led to a negative experience. I hope you understand what happened.I did not delete your article. I tagged it, and an administrator then deleted it.

We get more than one new article per minute. See WP:New pages. One per minute is 60*24 per day. We currently have about 2 million articles. See WP:STAT. Our admins delete most of the new articles. See WP:DEL. We have less than 2000 admins. so on average each admin must delets more than one article per day.

Your "fun" article demonstrates that you have learned how to create good wikipedia articles. I actualy liked the article and I would like to stand you to a pint or two at the local pub. but we still had to delete the article. -Arch dude 03:16, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:N2212439918 33399.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:N2212439918 33399.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:53, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:N506175944_57092_3083.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:28, 26 August 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Calliopejen1 (talk) 00:28, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:N197800643 30118900 4789.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:N197800643 30118900 4789.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Notice

The file File:N506994431 21155 7017.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned image, no encyclopedic use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Also:

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
