Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1988 Kansas City Chiefs season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jim Donovan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:07, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'll fix it, thanks for letting me know. JCartoonsFan 2021 (talk) 07:14, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why the piping?

[edit]

I don't understand this edit. Was the redirect Offensive tackle not working correctly? Dicklyon (talk) 22:34, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dicklyon I just wanted to make the redirect a bit easier just so we would avoid this from happening. It was at tackle earlier before the change. Yes I know those redirects happen time to time. JC2323 (talk) 22:44, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also it was redirecting to tackle so it is another reason. JC2323 (talk) 22:45, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I might as well revert even though I believe some feel it is fine. JC2323 (talk) 22:56, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:NOPIPE, "It is generally not good practice to pipe links simply to avoid redirects". So yes, best put it back to the simpler link. Dicklyon (talk) 00:29, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I just did hours ago. I apologize for that. JC2323 (talk) 00:45, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
