Please take a look at WP:NLT. If legal threats like this continue, your account(s) will need to be blocked indefinitely. I have brought up your concerns at WP:ANI#WP:BLP John Charles Gilkey and some possible legal issues and you are free to contribute to discussion there as long as there are no legal threats. Please stop removing material from John Charles Gilkey without prior discussion on the talk page. What is the problem with that sentence? It's clearly taken from the source. Dayewalker (talk) 05:05, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Again, please stop and discuss what you're doing. I'll be glad to listen to you, but I don't have any idea why you're making the edits you're making, and removing properly sourced information. Dayewalker (talk) 03:55, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello JBURNER666. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article John Charles Gilkey, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to you, your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

User claims to be John Charles Gilkey with this edit. As illustrated above and in their contribs - user has also issued multiple legal threats. Obvious COI, and user needs to cease immediately. Srobak (talk) 15:05, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, User:Dayewalker. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Please use WP:TALK pages to leave comments for users, not their userspace pages, or article pages. Please also make sure to review WP:TALKNEW and ensure new comments are posted at the bottom of talk pages, not near the top or midstream through the page as you did on User:Dayewalker. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
