An article you recently created, Latin America North East Libraries Network, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:06, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your review.
My contribution has 4 citations that are reliable, independent and secondary. Check citations 1, 4, 5, and 9. JAlonso-Regalado (talk) 19:37, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there -- I read your article and reviewed the sources for Latin America North East Libraries Network as part of New Page Review. I do not believe it meets the WP:SIGCOV requirements for WP:NORG, particularly as a WP:BRANCH of SALALM. My recommendation would be to restore a redirect of the page to Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials#Affinity groups. Would you agree to a redirect, or should I nominate the article for deletion at AfD? Let me know your thoughts, thanks! (P.S. I'm also concerned that given your conflict of interest as a member institution representative at LANE that you moved the page rather than submit through Articles for Creation, as is recommended for editors working on subject matter where they have a conflict.) Thank you for your message. The Latin America North East Libraries Network (LANE) is just an affiliate of SALALM but LANE is an independent organization. LANE is NOT a local unit of a larger organization. There are actually memmbers of LANE that are not members of SALALM. Because of this, I would not agree to a redirect. If you need further clarification on this, you can contact the current co-chairs listed in our wikipedia entry. Regarding the sources in the bibliography, most of them are independent from LANE and you can verify that easily. I understand that I a major contributor to the entry but the information provided is not bias and easily verifiable via the citations provided. I was not aware that I needed to submit through Articles of Creation so that could be the solution. I am happy to go through the articles for creation process and wait the review for months. 169.226.84.46 (talk) 17:40, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
