Hello, and thank you for your request at Files for upload! Unfortunately, your request has been declined. The reason is shown on the main Files for upload page. The request will be archived shortly; if you cannot find it on that page, it will probably be at this month's archive. Regards,BrandonXLF (talk) 20:34, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to uSwitch, appears to have been inappropriate, and has been reverted. Please feel free to use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. We use WP:COMMONNAME. See article talk page. David Biddulph (talk) 12:18, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at uSwitch, you may be blocked from editing. You claimed "the new branding has fully been rolled out on the website today". Utter nonsense - From front page of website: "Why choose uSwitch?" (and 8 other occurrences of uSwitch on that front page). Wait for consensus on talk page. David Biddulph (talk) 12:34, 24 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, IwFergusson. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page uSwitch, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. BegbertBiggs (talk) 17:29, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
