Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! I am a frequent user and very rare contributor. My contributions are mainly minor edits to correct grammar and spelling or to improve readability.

Your edit to Abraham

[edit]

First, as it added content, it was not Minor edit. But the main problem was that it violated WP:NPOV. You obviously object to her being used in the article so you added a description of her current post with a comment on the college suggesting that it didn't specialise in history, etc (which was original research. Now all of that may be technically correct, but it made her look like an administrator and not a specialist in the subject matter of her academic work. And your comment on my talk page " Readers of the article need to be aware of her illustrious pedigree." simply confirms that. If you looked further at the announcement of her appointment you would have seen her academic achievements (in fact you might have seen them, there's no way for me to tell). But in any case you avoided mentioning her academic credentials. Please don't do this again. Your edit is made worse by the fact that she is a WP:BLP.
