Unblock my user account
[edit]Ivc4137 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
my user account was blocked from editing because my ip address was used from different user account:Vivek Chourasia. i understood why my account is blocked. i admit i violate wikipedia policy. i will never make a disruptive edit. i will make useful wikipedia contribution
Decline reason:
The autoblock is working as intended. You can request an unblock from your original account. clpo13(talk) 22:58, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- As this account is not blocked directly, in order to help you we need to know what your IP address is. If you do not wish to share it publicly, you may use WP:UTRS to request an unblock. 331dot (talk) 17:39, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
- Try editing again - I believe you're no longer blocked. PhilKnight (talk) 20:21, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
- @331dot and PhilKnight: I believe this actually is Vivek Courasia. See the very similar unblock request here. clpo13(talk) 21:37, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
- And also how similar this username is to Vc4137. clpo13(talk) 21:39, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, he's clearly admitting above to using the Vivek Chourasia account, which is currently indeffed. This account should be indeffed as well. This guy has had at least three other accounts, Vivek Chourasia, Vc4137, Vivek Chourasia vc4137, Vcksg4137 (check deleted edits as well) and perhaps a few others. User seems oblivious to editing norms, hasn't responded to notices or warnings, and I have serious competency concerns. User tried five times to create an article on himself. Since he's trying to edit again, it also seems they're apathetic toward our "do not use multiple accounts for nefarious purposes" rule. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:20, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
- Done. Vivek, if you want to request an unblock, you should do so only on the oldest account you have access to. You'll also need to explain in detail that you understand Wikipedia's guidelines and policies and list what topics you intend to edit if unblocked. Reviewing administrators aren't going to unblock based on a simple "I won't do it again" when you've created this many accounts to edit promotionally with. clpo13(talk) 22:57, 13 June 2018 (UTC)

Autoblock Unblock
[edit]Clearing an autoblock
Due to the nature of the block applied, we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details, there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:
- If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
- Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
- If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
- Try to edit the Sandbox.
- If you are able to edit the sandbox, you are not blocked from editing. Either the autoblock on your IP address has already expired, or you weren't blocked in the first place. Either way, you can resume editing.
- If you are still blocked, follow the directions below:
- Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Unblock request" section.
- Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page, and click save.
- If you cannot edit your own talk page, use the Unblock Ticket Request System to make your request.
