Notability (web) Criteria

[edit]

Based on Notability (web) Criteria: #3 "The content is distributed via a medium which is both respected and independent of the creators, either through an online newspaper or magazine, an online publisher, or an online broadcaster". Thus, The Full Armor of God Broadcast has displayed significant references to multiple third party "online broadcasters" which distribute the program and as such meets Notability (Web) Criteria. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.88.8.29 (talk) 03:36, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:WEB does not apply to FAoGB, as it has terrestrial outlets – "Any content which is distributed solely on the Internet is considered, for the purposes of this guideline, as web content." You need to show that FAoGB meets WP:NOTABILITY. —Zeagler (talk) 03:59, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Full Armor of God Broadcast is soley distributed via internet digital distribution by FullArmorRadio.com (including to terrestrial stations), thus Notibility (web) Criteria would seem to apply. It appears that Zeagler is overly knit picking this article. Me thinks thou dost protest too much. What is Zeagler's motive for scrutinizing this page so heavily?173.88.8.29 (talk) 04:43, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures

[edit]

Let's keep the pictures relevant to the actual article. 5minutes (talk) 19:59, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just a repeat: we need to keep the pictures relevant to the article. While a picture of the host is interesting, I'm not sure it qualifies as relevant in terms of the notability of living persons. 5minutes (talk) 13:27, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

You should probably remove references that link to fullarmorradio.com. While I understand your desire to reference your article, self-referencing doesn't really work here. Link to external sources that are independent of Full Armor Radio, because then, you just look like you're self-promoting. Try to find articles, interviews, etc. that are hosted by established sources. An interview in HM magazine, for instance, if there's been one. An article in a newspaper. Etc. 5minutes (talk) 13:27, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

True. All those links pushing people to the website and especially towards podcasts should go. They'd probably be removed by other editors if this ever did achieve article status. And if the website is linked as a reference, it probably shouldn't be an external link especially if it's in the Infobox - all your external links are to the website.
