Superstar Billy Graham

[edit]

Hello there, just a couple of things.

1) Please sign your name (by typing four of these: ~) when posting on one's talk page so they (I) know who exactly is lecturing me.

2) I'll wait to see if anyone else takes issue with the edits so I'm not going to undo them, but 'superstarbillygraham.net' appears to be either Graham's own site or a fan site, which isn't exactly a secondary/third party source, which would be ideal. Graham could always say 'hey yeah I won the blah blah blah title on this and that day' yet it may not be true, although i'm not saying that's the case here. Also, the links to the newspaper clippings have no dates on them. How do we know when these clippings were printed?

3) The title wins you spelled out should go in the body/career section of Billy's page. Detailing what title and where and when it was won doesn't belong under 'championships and accomplishments'. Notice how every other wrestler's page does this. Please take a look at Wikiproject Pro Wrestling's Style Guide (WP:PW/SG). While it may be a bit outdated, it's still the current consensus for the layout of Pro Wrestling pages.

And 4), there are numerous grammar issues with your edits. I know that may be a petty thing to point out, but sometimes it bothers me and I can't help it. I'd figure they were made by a youngster, but since you 'know' Mr. Coleman, I assume you're an adult. Your research is used in his book? That's a big/bold statement with no backup that I am able to see. Who are you and where has your 'research' been published and/or verified?

Anyway, I do thank you for contributing to a pro wrestling page, as there are far too many people that just like to screw up/vandalize wrestling pages. Hopefully you can help us out in the WP:PW community. Sorry in advance if this came off as a 'lecture', knowing that I myself just whined about being lectured. Just wanted to point a few things out. Have a good day/night. InFlamester20 (talk) 01:39, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
