Hi, after you promote a hook to a prep set, you need to close the template. See instructions at WP:DYKNA#How to promote an accepted hook. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 12:45, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Yoninah apologies I was in mobile and I didn't notice. Sorry for the inconvenience. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 14:40, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
But are you going to close it? Yoninah (talk) 17:58, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi again. Not sure why you promoted this template when there's no final tick on it. Even if it takes time, we have to wait for someone to sign off on the licensing issue. Please undo your promotion for now. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 18:15, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
A second administrator and reviewer has confirmed the license is survivable for inclusion. I am confused what else could be a "final tick". — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 21:15, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

Oversight emails

Berrely, a few minutes ago you sent three emails to User:Oversight reporting a diff on the Main Page that does not require oversight. It appears that they came from RedWarn. Do you know why this happened? ST47 (talk) 22:51, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

ST47, oh my god I'm so sorry, I was testing the feature and thought it only sent the emails to me. Apologies for taking up your time. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 22:55, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

"Under 18" user box - not necessarily a good idea

It's generally not a good idea for people to self-identify as minors on a mostly-adult place like Wikipedia. It also runs against some of the advice in Wikipedia:Protecting children's privacy.

If the purpose of the userbox is to say "this person may not be as mature as other editors, please be patient" then changing the age to 20 might serve the same purpose without making it obvious the person is a minor. This would also compliment {{User vicenarian}}.

Perhaps a better user-box would be one based on User vicenarian with |id={{id|U20}} and |info={{{info|This user is not yet a '''[[wiktionary:vicenarian|vicenarian]]'''.}}}.

Personally, I think the best solution is to discourage age-userboxes altogether for people who are under 20, but having an "under 20" user-box is much better - and safer - than having one that says "I am a minor." davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:17, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

Davidwr, I have removed the userbox from the age section and have nommed the userbox for deletion as I cannot find a way to adjust the wording to make it more suitable for an userbox, and to comply with the advice at WP:CHILD. I really made it as something for myself but noticed other users using it and thought it might be useful to place it on the UBX page. I do appreciate child protection reasons, and I agree it would be suitable to not encourage users to advertise that they are a minor. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 18:58, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

New, simpler RfC to define trust levels for WikiLoop DoubleCheck

HI Isochrone/Archives/2020/November,
I'm writing to let you know we have simplified the RfC on trust levels for the tool WikiLoop DoubleCheck. Please join and share your thoughts about this feature! We made this change after hearing users' comments on the first RfC being too complicated. I hope that you can participate this time around, giving your feedback on this new feature for WikiLoop DoubleCheck users.
Thanks and see you around online,
María Cruz

Love the sandbox

Love what you did in your sandbox[1] and on your user page.

Happy 35th anniversary to Microsoft Windows - it runs just as fast now as it did then!

I do have one question about your user page though, Does it run Linux? davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:40, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

Davidwr, I have somehow managed to trick the system into running Windows on Debian, so in theory, it already it is running on Linux, Ignoring this mess, but all jokes aside I will always have the joy of using Windows as I did when did 10 years ago. (This post was made via Kali Linux) — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 16:53, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

Kid Bookie Edit

hi Berrely. I didn't change the content of the original post, I just re-wrote it in a more ordered fashion, I wasn't voicing any opinion only tidying up the language used and making the diction better. Please reverse your changes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.28.117.74 (talk) 21:30, 25 November 2020 (UTC)

Hereward House School edits

Hi Berrely, i removed and updated the information on the Hereward House School page because the Middle School Head Teacher has now become a transition teacher, see Hereward house website [1], and is no longer the head of middle school. And in the way of sports, Hereward House no longer offer hockey during the pandemic because the Hockey Club, is not open. Instead the have Cricket at the Astroturf in swiss cottage and play tag rugby at Hampstead Heath. I would appreciate it if the information that was changed back from what I wrote was added back. SHANNON13ALB (talk) 10:32, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi there, I reverted the edit as you did not cite a source to backup the removal, but now that you have, feel free to add it back. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 16:22, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
