Speedy deletion nomination of Krishna Janardhana
[edit]Hello Irshadmarshall,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Krishna Janardhana for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

- Hello John,
- This was not intended as a promotional material. The artist Krishna Janardhana has been recognized by his home state and was recently awarded a senior fellowship from the Ministry of Culture in India. I kindly request that you refer to the website https://indiaculture.gov.in/senior-junior-fellowship-Minutes and download the PDF titled "Award of Senior/Junior Fellowships to Outstanding Artists in the Fields of Culture - Minutes Results of Senior Fellowship (Batch Year 2019-20) under Scheme of Sr/Jr Fellowship to outstanding persons in the field of culture". Within this document, you will find that the 183rd person listed is Harikrishna Janardhana (SF20205857). I understand that my previous message may have come across as promotional, but it was not my intention. I apologize for any confusion or discomfort that may have caused. The person in question has participated in numerous solo exhibitions that have been covered by well-known media outlets. Perhaps you can identify him by watching this YouTube video about his paintings and artistic endeavours. Why would an artist as selfless as him need promotion when his life revolves around art and he has never desired to sell any of his work to anyone so far? I'm sorry!
- Thanks,
- Irshad Irshadmarshall (talk) 00:35, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
