Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:02, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:17, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Vahshi Bafqi. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. -- /MWOAP|Notify Me\ 17:38, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:56, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm not quite sure how I'm not following Citations rules. In most of the recent edits, I am simply updating dead links to the new correct ones. Encyclopaedia Iranica's website has changed and all the links to its old ones need to be updated. Please let me know.

Re your message: You are doing far more than updating already existing links. You are adding them to articles in these examples: [1][2][3][4][5][6] You adding them in reverse alphabetic order is also very spam-like. Please stop just adding links. -- 18:32, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
You have been blocked for a period of 24 hours from editing for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
