Suggestion
[edit]You may find Help:Userspace draft useful? You'll generally struggle to pass notability guidelines with players who haven't played for the first team, but as far as I'm aware, there's no reason why you can't draft pages for them and move them into place when they do start to appear? - JVG (talk) 16:16, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
Hourihane, McLoughlin etc
[edit]Just to add to the above, these players will not pass WP:ATHLETE (and therefore warrant an article) until they have made a first-team competitive appearance for Town or the full Ireland team. Youth caps do not count towards this. Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 21:13, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
Mcloughlin has made senior appearances for Lowestoft Town, but he would have to play for his parent club to pass WP:ATHLETE? Thanks IpswichTown95 (talk) 08:31, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Lowestoft Town don't play in a fully professional league (anything from League 2 upwards) so appearances for them do not qualify for notability per WP:ATHLETE. - JVG (talk) 20:01, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
