Allow me to introduce myself — my name is Tim Davenport, "Carrite" on Wikipedia, and I live in Corvallis, Oregon, on the western coast of the United States of America. I'm 50 years old and have been active in the Wikipedia project since 2008.

While I do have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, for the last 20 years or more I have concentrated exclusively on matters of history and political biography, so I will not be of much help to you in locating sources.

The Article

Looks pretty good, there's absolutely no fear of deletion as long as there is no copyright violation happening. I know that some of the student projects at WP have had this issue and it is something being monitored. But it looks quite good at a glance. I've tampered pretty heavily, as you no doubt have observed. There are a couple of the footnotes that need to be improved — 2 and 3, I believe they are, the ones with the pdfs. What is the source of those? Who wrote the material? Who published the material and where? You seem to have the knack for how footnotes are written on WP — that's probably the most difficult thing to learn — so it's just a matter of finding out this information and then inserting it at the appropriate place. The external links are "raw URLs" that need to be tweaked, too. I'll refer you to the page that I've been working on < International Unemployment Day > and you can flip over to "EDIT THIS PAGE" and see the form to use for external links and such. Basically its an asterisk, followed by the name of the author, then a single square bracket [ with the URL and one blank space plus the title, followed by a closing single square bracket ] and then other detail about the publisher and source. Query

Hey, Just a small issue. The second footnote in my article is a part of lecture series at the Australian Graduate School of Management (University of New South Wales). Can i put in such type of information for reference?

Yes, it's okay to use that as a source as long as you don't steal the exact words from the source. There seems to be a huge problem with the Indian Education Project articles with newcomers copying material verbatim from the sources that are used. This is very important: things need to be changed, paraphrased, ideas put into other words... Be sure that you haven't plagiarized anywhere in the piece, and fix it as fast as you can if you did, because this is being checked very closely. But in terms of using the source, that's fine as long as you footnote it right. List the author, list the school, list the URL and the title of the publication, list the date...
