If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Approved Social, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 14 novembre (talk) 17:36, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:52, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Decline reason:

Your username is only one small part of the problem here. Please address your violations of WP:COI and WP:PROMO and please tell us what you'd write about instead, if unblocked. Yamla (talk) 18:21, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. That is also part of being a newb here. I was under the impression that company pages are acceptable. Not as a promotion source, but similar to Google and other companies that are listed.
What I need to do is spend a lot more time understanding how to properly create this page (to follow the guidelines and rules), then ask for someone to review, then submit with guidance. That is what I hope to accomplish. Thanks! InvestinAS (talk) 18:24, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I am new to this and didn't realize my username would be seen.

Hopefully I can get a little grace for not understanding this. Thanks! InvestinAS (talk) 18:07, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As described above, you are in violation of policy. The bigger issue here is that you are promoting "Approved Social". Using Wikipedia for advertising or to boost search engine results is not allowed, although many editors like you arrive daily thinking they'll get away with it. Wikipedia is written by a community of volunteer editors who each write and improve hundreds of articles in the span of the year, for year after year. We don't welcome folks who are not going to be part of that effort. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:26, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can understand your perspective completely. It's not my effort to self promote, however I'm sure you can imagine it would be cool to have a page for this company. So, what is the best way to proceed. I have no intention of causing an issue, but would also love to talk about marketing, martech, and SaaS. Which are my areas of expertise as a SME. I would also love to still have this page go live, even if that means getting guidance on how to write it without it being promotion.
Hope that helps. Thanks. InvestinAS (talk) 18:32, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Frankly, you aren't going to be unblocked to create that article. If this is your only goal here, this is the end of the line. --Yamla (talk) 18:34, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good. InvestinAS (talk) 18:37, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
