CalvinK39 (talk) 01:17, 23 March 2012 (UTC) This only really applies to Primary/Middle years section. But I think it’d be best to just provide a summary of key points in regards to the other programs. There’s already wikipedia articles on primary/middle, (sidebar) But I think its still necessary to include them in the main page, since were aiming to balance the article and inform them of all programs, not just the diploma. If we ensure we link to the other articles in some way, should be okay.[reply]

Should have mine ready soon. And about the formatting -_-;;; well, we’ll fix it eventually…lol. Priorities first.

InternationalMike (talk) 00:34, 23 March 2012 (UTC) Guys. I just added to the talk page on International Baccalaureate. Just realized that we are supposed to be adding any "talk edits" to the bottom of these pages. Not the top like we have been doing. Anyhow, don't forget to let me when you've completed your sections on the sandbox page. Thanks![reply]

Rojasgab (talk) 19:42, 22 March 2012 (UTC) On it[reply]

InternationalMike (talk) 19:38, 22 March 2012 (UTC) OK, I've set up the areas for us to each edit in (User:InternationalMike/sandbox). I've added the "IB Learner Profile" that I will tackle as well while you guys are writing up your stuff. Just let me know when you are done. I will go in and make final edits to make the flow consistent, then I'll cut and paste everything for a single edit on the IB page.[reply]

Rojasgab (talk) 19:34, 22 March 2012 (UTC) I'll finish off the diploma section[reply]

Aleksb999 (talk) 19:33, 22 March 2012 (UTC) I'll take primary[reply]

CalvinK39 (talk) 19:21, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Doesen't matter to me :X Guess Ill take Middle level. Ill start taking general notes on it then. Ill start from here: Middle Years Program[reply]

InternationalMike (talk) 19:16, 22 March 2012 (UTC) That correct! The three levels are: Primary, Middle & Diploma. Who wants to take which section?[reply]

CalvinK39 (talk) 19:10, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Sounds good, guess Ill start browsing the site. So basically what were doing for this article is providing more information on the fact that IB has a much greater reach (all grade levels) than people percieve?[reply]

InternationalMike (talk) 19:09, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Let me do the main paragraph and I'll be responsible for all of the cutting and pasting. Give me a second to create a template of headings in the Sandbox.[reply]

CalvinK39 (talk) 19:05, 22 March 2012 (UTC) I wasn't aware that there was IB for elementary and middle school students O_o. Was always under the impression it was just a business specialist program for highschool students. So its a different sort of curriculumn from standard education?[reply]

Rojasgab (talk) 19:04, 22 March 2012 (UTC) OK, I've got it. How about we each take a section and put together the main points for it in Mike's sandbox?[reply]

InternationalMike (talk) 18:58, 22 March 2012 (UTC) From what I understand, there is a misconception that the IB programme is only a diploma programme when in fact it is made up of three distinct programmes. Check it out http://www.ibo.org/programmes/index.cfm[reply]

InternationalMike (talk) 18:52, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Here is their main website www.ibo.org/[reply]

Aleksb999 (talk) 18:51, 22 March 2012 (UTC) I'm in. Let me find some Web pages on it.[reply]

InternationalMike (talk) 18:50, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Hey everyone, I was looking through the international baccalaureate page and noticed that some of it was incorrect and missing some data. Would anyone object to getting information on and working on this page?[reply]

CalvinK39 (talk) 18:45, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Nothing in particular. I suppose it'd be best to pick a topic that has some (outside wiki) information to it, rather than something obscure. Also don't think we should delve into something too complex, like a nanotechnology article or something lol. Lets see what we can find.[reply]

Rojasgab (talk) 18:43, 22 March 2012 (UTC) okay on it,[reply]

Aleksb999 (talk) 18:41, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Will Do[reply]

Does anyone have any topic ideas? Let's take the next few minutes to surf Wikipedia and see what we can find.

Go to the 'edit' section of our tutorial section here: http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Canada_Education_Program/Courses/The_Rhetoric_of_Digital_and_Interactive_Media_Environments_(Rhonda_McEwen)/Students&action=edit&section=T-10

- Gaby I see that you signed on with a "hello" on the page. I tried to set up your user name like mine. It should work but you need to say something on your user page and your sandbox in order for it to work properly.

- Aleksandra and Calvin, please set up your pages and make sure the links work like mine and like Gaby's will on the same page. Don't forget to say "Hello" to Rachel like everyone else did.

Hello Team International Baccalaureate! -- Mike, can you post a link to your Sandbox on your "Talk" page so I can access it a bit more easily. Thanks! Lolcat999 (talk) 00:23, 19 March 2012 (UTC) RachelM.[reply]
Lolcat999 (talk) 22:09, 19 March 2012 (UTC) Hey Mike, every member in the group is required to contribute to this article via the sandbox, and the talk page. It is not enough to have you summarize the contributions. We will go over this again in tutorial this week. -- RachelM[reply]

Lolcat999 (talk) 01:37, 27 March 2012 (UTC) Hey guys! You're doing great. Mike, I'm sorry I singled you out in tutorial last week, but I knew that you would get this going, and I didn't want any of you to lose marks because of some miscommunication or misunderstanding. I'm glad to see that it's going well. Good work! -- RachelM.[reply]
