References needed for Deborah Chung
[edit]Your recent contribution(s) to the Wikipedia article Deborah Chung are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at How to cite sources. Thanks! • Gene93k (talk) 19:50, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Niagara Centre for the Arts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of Niagara Centre for the Arts and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. • Gene93k (talk) 11:26, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Deborah Chung has been reverted.
Your edit here to Deborah Chung was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/PilotedToServe) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:16, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Charles Darwin. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. And a number of other articles. Dougweller (talk) 10:33, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 22:09, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
Your frequent tagging of significant and potentially controversial edits as minor edits appears to constitute long-term abuse of the feature. Please do not check edits as minor when:
- Adding or removing content in an article
- Adding or removing visible tags or other templates in an article
- Adding or removing references or external links in an article
- Adding comments to a talk page or other discussion.
Naturally, you are still welcome to check the minor edit box when correcting:
- Spelling and grammatical errors
- Simple formatting (e.g., capitalization, punctuation, or properly adding italics to non-English words, like folie des grandeurs, or titles of certain works, like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer)
- Formatting that does not change the meaning of the page (e.g., moving a picture, splitting one paragraph into two – where this is not contentious)
- Obvious factual errors (e.g., changing "Nixon resigned in 1874" to "Nixon resigned in 1974")
- Layout errors
- Adding or correcting wikilinks, or fixing broken external links and references already present in the article
- Removing obvious vandalism.
Continued abuse of the minor edit feature could result in a block. Thank you. Wilhelm Meis (☎ Diskuss | ✍ Beiträge) 02:55, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 14
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lee Sun Chau, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Robert Morrison. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reliable sources
[edit] Thanks for contributing to the article Diocesan Girls' School. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you.
