Anonima italiana petroli‎

[edit]

Hi! I see you've re-added a speedy deletion tag to Anonima italiana petroli‎. Did you read my previous decline reason, "decline WP:R3, definitely a plausible redirect (see e.g., Corriere della Sera, https://www.corriere.it/economia/17_novembre_03/api-ip-rete-made-italy-compra-tutte-stazioni-total-erg-d21a9dec-c0e3-11e7-8b75-0df914d10fe2.shtml"? Because the briefest internet search shows that this name is in fact used in reliable sources, so there's no reason to delete it. We commonly have redirects from mis-spelt or mistaken titles to the correct one, a few extra redirects do no harm to the project. Would you please remove the tag? Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:35, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry about the last bit, it's already been done. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:36, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can't see the article because the magazine is paid for. Anyway it's a wrong name and an orphaned redirect, what's the point of keeping it? InterComMan (talk) 09:46, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, please see this search instead. Redirects do no harm, we don't normally delete them if they are plausible. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:01, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have seen, but I think they are other companies, as in one book he talks about Anonima Italiana Petroli of Piacenza, another says that it subsequently became Società Petrolifera Italiana... I think the books deal with other companies. InterComMan (talk) 10:06, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Shell plc, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Augusta. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi InterComMan. Thank you for your work on TotalEnergies Italia. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

A bit of a complex corporate history, but it seems reasonable to start a page for this Italian subsidiary.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

You remove information from pages (like shareholders), and I would be the vandal? You better stop before being reported to some administrator. InterComMan (talk) 06:45, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Left guide (talk) 11:10, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lowercase title at Ho Mobile

[edit]

Hi, I note your edits at this article. The stable version of the article adequately reflects the stylisms that may be used for this brand; I've reverted to it. See MOS:LEAD and MOS:BOLDLEAD. The lead sentence should indeed use the article title. 162 etc. (talk) 16:10, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox instructions

[edit]

I know you're aware that infoboxes have instructions for their use in their documentation, as you've been pointed to them several times now. However you still make edits against what people are telling you are in the infobox documentation as in this edit. If you continue to make edits against infobox instructions, and continue to ignore what people are telling you, you will be blocked for willful disruptive editing. You've been reverted multiple times, by multiple people. I would have reverted you also, given the opportunity. Please stop it, until you get consensus. Which won't happen because your rationale is not very good. -- GreenC 14:03, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:InterComMan. Second warning re: Special:Diff/1257143201/1258143245. The discussion at Talk:Symantec#Redirect clearly demonstrates a lack of consensus. You have been warned multiple times already. If you do it again, I am reporting you to ANI. You were blocked 15 days ago at a different ANI case of edit warring, you would likely be blocked again for an extended period. This is your final warning before turning over to the administrators at ANI. -- GreenC 17:15, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
