If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Egor Orudzhev requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. BusterD (talk) 15:26, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Fare per Fermare Il Declino Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:39, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Marta García Lopez requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Ayman al-Zawahiri, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Isabelle 🏳‍🌈 01:07, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Freddie Slater is one of the greatest kart racers in history. I don't understand why Wikipedia publishes articles about obscure football players or unknown hip-hop singers, but Freddie Slater, who will be racing in Formula 1 in the next 5 years because he is one of the fastest racer in the world gets deleted. [edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Tuukka Taponen (racing driver) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Tuukka Taponen. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. I have been trying to upload Tuukka Taponen page for more than 6 months. It was complicated. Hopefully, there are no more problems right now. IntelligereOmnia (talk) 19:06, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Writing a new article from scratch is a big task, and you've done well to get it to this point. For the record, the above message is only about the way you moved the article (by cutting and pasting), not about the move in general. And even that is something that should be easy for an admin to fix once they get around to it. Ljleppan (talk) 14:07, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I only cut and pasted my own article, the one that wasn't being published. I see there is a completely new page now. All my work was done in vain. IntelligereOmnia (talk) 23:10, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
