Luna Santin 21:04, 7 October 2006 (UTC) Alright, this is a bit of a story, and I didn't want to get into it because it's so long winded. Basically, it started a few days ago, I don't remeber how long ago but not too far ago, when I walked in on my brother editing wikipedia. I saw he was trying to edit Kevin Anderson's page. When he got off, I read it, saw nothing out of the ordinary (which is strange, because he hates science fiction). So I checked the discusion, and saw what had been going on. When I saw what he had written, I immeadiatly created an account that he would never guess (infolithium is the name of a camcorder; I had it in the den because I was editing something for a school project), and alerted the person he had been talking to (sandchigger). I faked not knowing whom it was because I like wikipedia, and I didn't want to be attached to the bad name my brother was leaving. After that, I logged off, waited for sandchigger to respond, and then left the message sort of toward the middle of the page. After that, I didn't know that my brother even had an account until today; I walked in on him, and I saw that he had been editing in my name (he hadn't properly cleared the cache after logging out, and when I went on, my account was logged in). I asked him about it, and he claimed innocence. I didn't have the good mind to see what he had changed in my name, but I did go back into the Anderson talk page, found that he had in fact gone back to the page, and had played along with what I had said. I became suspicious, but I had no way of changing the setting to disallow him to use wikipedia. So I cleared the cache and hoped he didn't know my password. Then I went and ate breakfast, after which I started doing some backlogged homework. By the time I had gone in, I went on to my account and that's where I found the block. I immeadiatly suspected my brother, which is why I told my parents, which is why he isn't here right now. He admitted to having another account, and showed it to us. Then I went on and found out what he had been doing; I have to say, I'm nothing short of horrified.
If you truly don't believe me, then at least tell me some details on this ban (when it will be up, whom I can contact, how to contact, how to delete a profile (for profilio)), things of that nature. I emplore you.
Wouldn't it be nice...
[edit]It's come to my attention that wikipedia has lost a lot of what it was made to do. As anyone who has ever read my talk page can tell you, Profilio is my brother. And despite that he has done some (specifically, about three or four) terrible things here, I care for him a lot. And no good has come to him. Sure, he tried to hurt me and others childishly, but he's not all that old. He's not a very popular kid, and he's never managed to find a place where he could fit in. And he would really fit in here; and now that he's done bad, the blocking admin, Wknight94, isn't just not listening to him, he's being down hurtful; in fact, right now, my brothers sitting in his room crying. All because somebody won't hear him out. So I'm going to do a few things. First off, I'm going to admit something: I created a fake account as Wknight49 and tried, very unsuccessfully, to have the ban removed, at risk of being blocked, to have my brother freed. Secondly, after this message, you will find the most recent of the transactions between Profilio and Wknight94, along with links to emails sent by avid users and admins who left wikipedia. Thirdly, I am going to spread this as far and wide as I can. I may not have been the best to my brother, but at the end of the day, I don't plan to be the one who caused him pain.
You can stop sending me e-mails. I am not unblocking you. And also stop removing the warnings, etc. above. —Wknight94 (talk) 11:25, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

You have a serious attitude problem. I'm asking for a means to speak with you, not a way for you to smack me down. I did something bad, and to think that there is no way for forgivance is inhumane. We are people here, and though I admit I did not behave myself, I ask for a way to make amends. And the reason I wish to speak with you on this is so that I may know that I have exausted the first thing the block page says, to talk to the blocking admin. Please, the reputation of admins has already fallen so far. I do not want to believe them, and so I talk to you with grace and good language, assuming good faith because I want to be spoken as a person and not as a mindless vandal. I tell you, I was provoked. You haven't heard the whole story yet. And I don't intend to rest until you do.
And if you do not stop, I will make this all painstakingly public. Thank you.
Enough with the nonsense here before I protect this page. Your sockpuppet/imposter, User:Wknight49, doesn't help your case one bit. —Wknight94 (talk) 23:31, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

First order of business, I don't know anything about Wknight49. Believe me or not, your choice. I checked, and it doesn't seem that the account has done anything, so there's no need to bring it up. And secondly, I will leave the page up, as a sign of goodwill. I would really just like to talk to you. I have other questions besides the block.
And realistically, besides the shenanigans that I'm being punished for, I've done no nonsense. You've expressed that the page with the decline needs to stay up, so it will. To tell the truth, you've been rather rude with me. So you don't want to talk about the ban. That's clear. But I've offended people, and I do care very much about that. If an apology were extended towards them, would it not be logical that my name would be cleared? I am a good person who has made a bad decision, and as the only one who can help to amend it, I am at your will. Whatever you want, it can be had. Regardless of your choice, I do intend to apologize to those whom I have affected.
So to start my chain of apologies:
I would like to apologize for my last message. I have reviewed a copy of it, and for awhile there I seemed slightly hostile. That is not my intention. I beg your pardon for this, and if it may have confused you as to my intention. Again, I offer my sincerest apologies.

There's a serious lack of humanity here, and I may be banned for saying it. But so be it. It will only prove me right. The puritans had their witch trials. McCarthy had his hearings. But wikipedia can stop before it starts these senseless actions. I call no editor or admin a bad person; I do not say that everything they do is condemnable. In fact, in my short time here, I have experienced great help and friendlyness. But knowing that this disease lives amoung a site that may just be one of the finest ideas in a long time...I cannot stand idily by. Infolithium 01:42, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Also, this is happening fairly consistantly, and I've brought it to the attention of the blocking admin, who has basically ignored me, and also believes I may be a sockpuppet(er). I'm not. And other than having the ban lifted from "Profilio," does anyone know what I can do to not have to bother an admin every time I edit/try to talk to another user? Thanks. - I've given Profilio a final chance and unblocked him. If there's anymore trouble whatsoever from anyone in your household such as vandalism or the creation of any more accounts (which Checkuser will uncover), I'll be blocking 67.165.16.247 for a year because I will stop believing that you two are actually brothers, but disruptive sock puppet accounts.
