THE PAGE MENTIONED BELOW HAS BEEN REDIRECTED

Hello, I'm Wikipelli. I noticed that in this edit to Additional superintendent of police, you removed all the content from the page. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. About the article, that sir, you said that I uncounstructively edited.

[edit]

Respected sir, My name is Dinesh Chandra Saxena. I just saw on my talk page that you told me that my edit was unconstructive. Sir, I respect your feeling but what I edited was from India's point of view; as I am an Indian. India claims the whole princely state of Jammu & Kashmir. So, it claims that K2 is the highest peak of India, As you may know, the state of Jammu & Kashmir is a disputed territory, like the small area between Sudan and South Sudan. King Hari Singh signed the accession agreement, according to which the state of Jammu and Kashmir became a part of India. Pakistan, a country neighbouring India, says that the partition of India was on the basis of religious majority in every state. In Jammu & Kashmir, the majority of the population was Muslim but the emperor was a Hindu. So, Pakistan claims the whole state of Jammu and Kashmir and so does India. So, Pakistan and India, both claim that the highest peak in their own country is K2. Although this has become a dispute too, what I wrote was from India's point of view. I respect everyone's feelings and I look forward for a reply. I apologise for any mistakes I have made in editing this article.

Regards, Info12d (talk) 07:42, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may not edit from any national point of view; Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view, and cannot state as fact that one side in a conflict is right (or wrong). The Jammu & Kashmir dispute is amply covered in the encyclopedia, and this includes the claims of both India and Pakistan to the entie princely state. Meanwhile, the mountain is located in Gilgit-Baltistan which is an autonomous region in Pakistan, as acknowleged by the UN. --bonadea contributions talk 08:00, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning users

[edit]

Hey Info12d!

I see you warned a user who now has been reported for vandalism.

You were right to warn the user for editing unconstructively,[1] but in the future I ask that you use just copy something like this: {{subst:uw-vandalism1|Director general of police}} ~~~~ into their talk page. If behavoir like that persists, please consider report them to WP:AIV. Happy editing! –MJLTalk 17:50, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
