On the contrary, I am trying to present a balanced interpretation of Krav Maga. If you review the history of the article, you'll see that there has been a concerted effort to post material that is highly biased towards Commando Krav Maga. By his own admission, Moni never trained with Imi or received any actual training in Krav Maga. Whatever his martial arts credentials as a Judoka, etc., no matter how nice a guy he is, this does not qualify him as an expert in Krav Maga. It is only if one interprets the phrase generically (like "Karate" being a generic term for Asian martial arts), that he can be considered an "expert" in Krav Maga. To associate him with mainstream Krav Maga, especially when there is already an article on Commando Krav Maga is (in my opinion) both disingenuous and unfair. And his claim that he was asked to revise the IDF's close quarters battle *before* either Eyal Yanilov or Haim Gidon even began training in Krav Maga is preposterous.
I don't know what your connection is to those who continue to post the same Commando Krav Maga material repeatedly, but I am getting tired of having to remove it almost daily. The information they cut and paste is both poorly written and copied verbatim from the Commando Krav Maga website. You, at least, took the time to post something meaningful, which is why I even bothered to justify my revert.
Perhaps it is true that you "do not care." I happen to care deeply about Krav Maga and about the impression others have of the art. If that means removing objectional material from a public site like Wikipedia on a daily basis, then so be it. All I ask is that you do not damage the work many folks have contributed to making Krav Maga a useful and informative tool.
And finally, it's a shame you responded the way you did. I would really enjoy meeting others around the world with an interest in Krav Maga, and Wikipedia should be a wonderful vehicle for that. Instead, the article is a source of contention and disagreement. Imi, I am quite sure, would be disappointed. Perseverantia 07:13, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
