Hello
[edit]Are you the same user from the spanish wikipedia? If you indeed are, why on earth would you copy and translate the content from Mortal Kombat (2011 video game)? I don't mind it, but it shows poor quality as an editor to do so. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 21:45, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
- Well, when I read it (i'm a proficient Spanish reader BTW), it looked straight copy and pasted word for word. As I said, I don't mind it, but try to use different wording when you do so as to make it appear more professional. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 22:56, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
- As you have noticed, my primary language is English so I don't exactly "know" Spanish. I can somewhat type it, I can speak it, I can read and understand it when spoken to me but I don't have an entire proficiency. I just don't want that article to be messed up with my grammatical issues and poor word choice. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 23:03, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
New characters
[edit]The information was brought about by leaks and rumors. Although legitimate information has popped up, there hasn't been a real confirmation of the characters by the developers so we at the English Wikipedia are regarding it as a simple rumor. The characters are in the article, just with no references. I hope this helps. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 00:08, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- No problem. I had the same thoughts when it started showing up on the English Wikipedia. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 00:35, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Cyber Sub-Zero
[edit]Like I said on the Talk:Mortal Kombat (2011 video game)#Cyber Sub-Zero page, we're not gonna have actual reliable source with verifiability until after release, but make sure to reference the policies WP:V and WP:RS. Tell the member to be patient as release is coming soon in the US and the reviews will most likely reveal that information. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 21:57, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
