External links in the body of an article are discouraged except as a separate section. WP:ELPOINTS
Changes should mostly be supported by reliable, verifiable, independent sources. Your private communications with DC are not verifiable.
Wikipedia's house style is to refer to somebody by their full name only once. Thereafter they should be referred to by their surname only.
