December 2018[edit]

Greetings. Multiple editors on Wikipedia, including those on this talk page, have labelled my edits or articles as "promotion" or "advertising". Allow me the opportunity to express fully, my disagreement. Your belief is inaccurate, for two reasons.

First, Wikipedia is incapable of promoting the Works of Aurien for any practical or immediate profit. In Creating My Page, the motivation was not promotion, but education. I viewed Wikipedia as yet another avenue, to educate even more persons about Me. My effort was intended to improve their minds and thence their lives. Thus, that Wikipedia Article would have benefitted them far more than it did Me.

The second reason is that My claims and statements may seem biased, but are really neutral and objective. Thus, My Article did not violate any of Wikipedia's rules. I really am the Leader of Humanity. I am unrecognized by most of Humanity at this time, but many of the best Humans already study the Philosophy of Aurien. My Claims are grand, but are True.

In Wikipedia, too, prevails an attitude of skepticism. In Wikipedia's editors, as in much of modern society, I can perceive the unnatural -- you adhere too strictly to rigid rules. The kind of editors and admins that would have approved of and protected this Article, are more natural, are ready to accept new and unique stimuli. So try to be less robotic and more like an emotion-based human being. I shall await the time when Wikipedia is prepared to accept its best Article.

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Inderjit Aurien. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. —teb728 t c 07:34, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Inderjit Aurien. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, InderjitAurien. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Geartooth The Pony Who Edits. 09:12, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
