This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Rabia Zuberi, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.ksa.edu.pk/RabiaZuberi. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 09:32, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Notability of Rabia Zuberi
[edit]A tag has been placed on Rabia Zuberi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 11:01, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one or more of your recent contributions to Karachi School of Art because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. I dream of horses If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message. (talk) contribs @ 05:24, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Institute of Taxation Management
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on Institute of Taxation Management, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jim1138 (talk) 08:17, 10 October 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Imranzuberi, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 17:29, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
Karachi School of Art
[edit]I have some suggestions for [[Karachi School of Art]]. It might be a bit overwhelming.
- I MOS:COMMENTED out the Notable Alumni section on Karachi School of Art. You need to establish wp:notability (people) to include them in such lists. A simple link to KSA's notable alumni is not sufficient. They need to have established themselves. Also see wp:listpeople and wp:write the article first.
- Avoid the use of all capitals (also known as SHOUTING) see wp:allcaps Such use is not encyclopedic.
- Avoid wp:puffery
- Only capitalize proper nouns (or the first word in a sentence) "Art Department" is probably not a proper noun.
- "6 Months Diploma in INTERIOR DESIGN" probably should read "6 month diploma in interior design" (I would drop the s in months)
- Add more wp:wikilinks
- Add more wp:reliable sources as wp:inline citations minimize using KSA as a source as it is a wp:primary source
- Narrative should not be use. Specifically the Karachi School of Art#History
- Avoid copy/pasting from other websites. Copyrighted material (even if not marked as copyrighted) should never be added to Wikipedia.
- Add some photos! Ask others to upload the photos they take to commons:Upload (they will need an account) and send you a message about them.
- Note the cleanup messages at the top of the KSA article. They should be taken care of. I removed the
{{no footnotes}}
and added{{primary}}
- Use template:cite web to format your citations.
If you have questions you can get help a number of ways:
- The
{{helpme}}
template - The wp:teahouse
- The wp:Help desk
I hope this helps. Ask some of the students to help with this. If they can find wp:secondary citations, that would help you quite a bit. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 18:00, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
