Hello, Immcarle73, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

I plan on adding new information to the MARCO wikipedia page. Here are some of the references I plan on adding:

I hope to contribute more information on what kind of ligands bind to MARCO receptors, the role the receptors play in macrophages during an infection, and possible medical conditions associated with MARCO. Immcarle73 (talk) 04:01, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you're removing content as "plagiarism", it's important to make sure that the content wasn't copied from Wikipedia (an awful lot of Wikipedia content is copied elsewhere). To help others, it's also important to say where you believe the content to have been copied from. Don't expect people to trust you (after all, as far as they're concerned, you're just a random person on the internet), give them the tools to verify whatever you say. Okay, thank you! The content was taken directly from the source's abstract so it was not taken from another Wikipedia article. Can I still add that to the edits I made before somehow? Immcarle73 (talk) 02:58, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Immcarle73[reply]
