Image:John Grabow.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:John Grabow.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 01:15, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
List of notable people with cystic fibrosis
Hi, thanks for sourcing a bunch of entries in List of notable people with cystic fibrosis. I just had to remove those unsourced entries per Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. But sourcing is always is much better. Cheers, Garion96 (talk) 05:23, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Alphasigmamembership.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Alphasigmamembership.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. question about editing
Hi, I noticed that you welcomed a user (e- romance) who recently added alot of info on the Linda Howard page. The problem is that it appears that English is a second language and the Bio info is pretty hard to understand. Have you run across this problem before? Looks like the info would be helpful, but I don't know how to approach this. I would jump in to edit, but I can't figure out exactly what some of the sentences are trying to say. Plus there are no citations, so can't go double check myself. --Tinned Elk 01:15, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply. I have done some research and found some info about LH so feel like I can at least clean it up without feeling like I was trashing it. Seems like a lot of work for the person to go to if they are not interested in cleaning it up or following the rules, etc. I assume you have not heard back from them? It truly seems to be an ESL problem. Oh well, I guess I just wanted to make sure I was not crazy. Thanks again. --Tinned Elk 02:21, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Re: Welcome!
Thank you very much by the welcome and the explanation on links, I will remember it. Moan that my English is not more formal, is not my first language and that not always I am correct. I will try to include single data without extending.

AskMeNow
Why don't you try editing what you don't agree with instead of posting information that is not accurate. Everything I posted is factual about the company. You've added information that isn't. --—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mironearth (talk • contribs)
thanks for tagging Biphasic Cuirass Ventilation
Hi there, thanks for tagging Biphasic Cuirass Ventilation with the {{unreferenced}} template. I knew something like that existed, but I don't have much experience with tagging articles. I hope things are going well for you. Thanks again! --Kyoko 05:12, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
KKG vandalism - thanks for reverting
Thanks, ImGz, for reverting the frequent vandalism on the Kappa Kappa Gamma page. Your efforts on behalf of Wikipedia are truly heroic! jimmyflathead 03:52, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Sandra Brown (campaigner)
In order to make the tone seem more formal, I have removed instances of the first name "Sandra" and changed them to "Sandra Brown". This seems less chatty, I suggest. I have taken out the weasel words "articulate, confident and passionate in her advocacy" and replaced them with "now well-known as a spokesperson on child protection issues". I have removed completely the sentence about "avenues still to explore" and provided more information about the work of MAF. All this conveys a more authoritative and more formal tone. With kind regards Avril.rennie 21:46, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Re: Welcome
Thanks for the welcome! Although I fear after perusing some of the help topics that I'm already developing a problem. ugh, Bashen 09:09, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
lifetime field in DZ infobox must be filled in
You added the info box for the dz fraternity. 'lifetime' must be filled in when 'members' is used (as documented on the usage page for the template). I don't know exactly what that field requires. Could you please fill it in? Therefore 16:40, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry I wasn't clear. Without an entry in the 'lifetime' field, the formatting is odd. When blank, the word 'lifetime' appears. Another editor attempted to take out the lifetime field to fix this and the formatting really broke down. This is the nature of the programming for the infobox, unfortunately. I guess it is too small of a point and should just display as is.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Therefore (talk • contribs)
My userpage layout
Oh my goodness! I'm ... well ... honoured, actually. Glad you like it. And hey - I'll have to change my colours now, because yours look a whole lot nicer :) BTW, if you want the colour-matched "userpage" banner, you can use mine by adding {{User:Alison/Userpage}} instead of just {{userpage}}. Thanks again, and thanks for the congrats - Alison☺ 18:57, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Alison's User Page Design.
I saw your message on her talk page. I think it looks good on both pages. Knowing Alison, she'll be flattered. :) Acalamari 18:58, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks
Thanks for the barnstar :) I was glad to see that you were interested in romance authors too -- it's nice not to be the only one. I'm going to go back in to a lot of the articles I created and try to add better citations (I didn't know how to cite things when I started) and improve things a little. Karanacs 19:40, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank You
Thanks for the advice about the help pages. Adding comments to the talk pages was getting REALLY tedious.

Sandra Brown (campaigner)
I removed the weasel words, as you saw them, and replaced then with words that convey greater detachment. Also, I replaced the informal usage "Sandra" with a more detached "Sandra Brown". The article is far from finished and I intend to put more work into it shortly. However, in view of the alterations I have made, I think the accusation of "advertisement" can now be removed. I shall work on the citations as well, in the near future. Kind regards from Avril.rennie 16:51, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Rice Krispie Treats
Are you the one that added "balsalmic" vinegar as one of the recipe variations? I removed this part because not only is it misspelled I cannot find a reference to this type of ingredient online. It sounds unusual to say the least.Cananadian402 08:51, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
thanks for your diplomatic comments
Hi there, thanks for your diplomatic comments on the Talk:Cystic fibrosis page. I had seen the parent comment sometime before you, and I was tempted to say something hasty at the time, but I thought better of it. Anyway, thanks, and I hope you're doing well. --Kyoko 18:51, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Only Human - sorry!
I noticed that my ineptitute caused you a bit of trouble navigating the Only Human-related pages, and I wanted to drop a note and apologize. As I'm sure you noticed, things didn't go very well that evening, and each time I went back and tried to fix a mistake I realized I'd made, it only mucked things up that much more. I'm glad you got it figured out in the end - I am "only human!" PaladinWhite 23:35, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Romance Novelist Categories
Thanks for letting eRomance know about the category rules. I had just typed a similar message on her talk page, and when I tried to submit it gave me an edit conflict because you had the very same idea. Great minds think alike! Karanacs 19:20, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

good comment on Tacro; I am taking it too. I plan to expand parts of it. Keep up the good work with transplantation / CF articles. SniperSarge 05:26, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Cystic Fibrosis
I can see your point about the blog but you are wrong about the other link. The Live Life and then Give Life campaign was started by two women with CF who are ambassadors for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (national official organization) in the UK; the campaign is also backed by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The Live Life then Give Life campaign has succeeded in getting a lot of national TV news coverage(mainstream news and not PBS type coverage), national and regional newspaper coverage, and national and regional radio coverage about living with cystic fibrosis and about organ transplantation - therefore the link is valid and should stay on the page.
