I want to let you know that the article that you just created potentially fails WP:NEO, which is a guideline that discourages articles that deal with neologisms. I can give you some time to find some verifiable, third party sources to establish some notability of the term. If you cannot do so, then I have no choice but to propose that the article be deleted. It helps if you read the Wikipedia guidelines on verifiable sources (The sources that are currently in the article are not verifiable, as game guides, forums, or blogs do not qualify.) as well as how to avoid original research; it will greatly help you in the future when creating new article. Finally, look at what I have left at the article's talk page, as that has a couple more tidbits of information.

I hope you can find something and keep the article alive. Thank you, MuZemike (talk) 20:56, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Video Game Rank

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Video Game Rank, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
