Thanks for the corrections to the stem cell article. Tim Vickers 23:08, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've always aimed for the best source for the job and assumed that if people want to check this they can either e-mail me for a Pdf or go to a library and look it up themselves. However, if you have a choice between an open-access and a subscription journal, then open-access is by far the best. Tim Vickers 16:00, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Epigenetics

[edit]

Thanks for your edits to the Epigenetics article! I hope my rearrangements to the definition section are ok with you ... some IP had split these sections up, I had originally created a single section for etymology and definition.

About prions -- does "prion" refer generally to any protein that has the potential to form these catalytic aggregates, or does it refer more specifically only to the infectious structures, the aggregate folded formations? I had been using the latter definition... your rewrite seems to imply the first one, though. Madeleine 21:10, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS - I asked this question on the epigenetics talk page after I saw you commented there, so you should respond there I think... :-) Madeleine 21:16, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MCB Wikiproject

[edit]

Hi there, I was wondering if you would be interested in joining the Wikipedia:WikiProject Molecular and Cellular Biology, we'd be very happy to have you as a colleague. All the best Tim Vickers 16:28, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the project. The talk pages are great places to get help and ideas. If you have any specific questions just ask there or put a note on my talk page. Again, welcome! Tim Vickers 04:24, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
PS I've put a temporary redirect on your user page that directs people automatically to this talk page. No point in having two links if you only have one page. Feel free to delete this if you want to. Tim Vickers 04:33, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File:Human embryonic stem cell colony phase.jpg

[edit]

You uploaded File:Human embryonic stem cell colony phase.jpg as PD-Self, but seem to indicate that it came from a (possibly PD) government site. Which is it? You can only use PD-Self if you really created the image yourself. - Jmabel | Talk 07:21, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I made the mouse embryonic fibroblasts, grew and cultured the stem cells and took the picture myself. Id711 (talk) 00:34, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

GA reassessment of Stem cell

[edit]

I have conducted a reassessment of the above article as part of the GA Sweeps process. You are being notified as you have made a number of contributions to the article. I have found some serious concerns which you can see at Talk:Stem cell/GA1. The artcile appears to contain many copyright violations. I have placed the article on hold whilst these are addressed. Thanks. Jezhotwells (talk) 21:10, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited William Melton Halsey, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charleston. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
