Content dispute on Spirited Away

Regarding your recent comment on Talk:Spirited Away as well as your edit summaries in the article: Please do not threaten other editors with blocking who are acting in good faith and providing sources to back up their position. I would decline a request to block that IP address with whom you are warring. I suggest you answer the counter-argument the IP address has given you rather than continue edit-warring in the article, on which I can enforce stability either by protection or blocking all parties involved. ~Anachronist (talk) 05:39, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

WP:SPA & Editting Warring

By looking at your account history and contributions, your account falls well within the description of a single purpose account. This does not help you in your editting war with the IP on both articles Spirited Away and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train. Augu❤Maugu 💕 05:50, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at List of highest-grossing animated films shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Betty Logan (talk) 13:07, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Wrong. In the case of a content dispute when each side has sources supporting their position, not only can you be reverted, but you can also be blocked for edit-warring. Do not edit-war, even if you believe you are right, and even if the person you are warring against doesn't follow the rules.
I have protected articles to avoid blocking you, to force discussion to the talk page, but you keep finding more articles to engage in edit-wars. You are being reverted by multiple editors, not just one IP address. You are not listening to what others have been telling you about why your changes are problematic. From my perspective as an administrator, the surest way to ensure stability of articles is to block your account. Enough! If you continue revert-warring, you will be blocked. ~Anachronist (talk) 05:50, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

It's look like you have misinterpreted me. I haven't done anything after Betty has revert back my all edits. I just asked him the reason behind his reverts. You can personally check my edit history if I did any kind of edit warring in last 24 hours after his reverts. Personally, I am quite disturbed by the way you have warned me. As you know that I have not edit warring after his reverts. Currently, I am standing away from this topic as my edits always seems to be problematic to you all. So, I haven't edited in last 24 hours. I am a peaceful and a little boy who is just waiting for his placement. You all can say that I am the only one who ignore you all. But the fact is that I have not edit warring after you have asked me not to edit in content dispute. I am just waiting for a person to check whether my references to my statement in the talk page of the anime film Demon Slayer Mugen Train is correct or not. Nothing further to say. You are a Adminstrator and I am a editor. I respect you all a lot. And I hope you all do not think that I have disturb you. Thank you. [[User:Ichika Kasuga|Ichika Kasuga]] (talk) (talk) 08:36, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

My first comment above was a very mild warning about edit-warring, and you were still doing it at least six hours later in other articles. It is true that you have not warred since someone else issued you a more formal warning above, and I apologize for my oversight in not noticing that. ~Anachronist (talk) 16:57, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
This has been explained already: the problem is not the sources, it is your interpretation of them. In that sense your statements are not well sourced, because they do not corroborate these other grosses. They do, however, arguably corroborate that Demon Slayer did indeed break the record for highest-grossing anime film. Betty Logan (talk) 03:42, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
  • I am becoming increasingly tired of your disregard for Wikipedia's sourcing policies. Once again you removed secondary sources and replaced them with a link to another article. You have already been told this is not acceptable. WP:CIRCULAR (a policy) explicitly states "Do not use articles from Wikipedia (whether this English Wikipedia or Wikipedias in other languages) as sources. " If you cannot follow simple instructions even after they have pointed out to you then maybe you should consider whether Wikipedia is the right project for you. If reliable secondary sources exist that corroborate the new figure THEN ADD THEM TO THE ARTICLE YOU ARE ALTERING! Do not ask editors to go chasing up sources at other articles. Betty Logan (talk) 23:29, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Merrick Park. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

Two noticeboard discussions about issues you have been involved in

As I said I would, I have posted to WP:ANI and WP:NORN about our discussion at Talk:List of highest-grossing R-rated films#Demon Slayer The Movie Mugen Train. See Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Conduct issues at Talk:List of highest-grossing R-rated films and Wikipedia:No original research/Noticeboard#User-performed currency conversions, respectively. Blocked for sockpuppetry

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ichika Kasuga. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GeneralNotability (talk) 01:29, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:

GeneralNotability, I have no idea why you blocked me. You cannot relate me with an IP user. You would easily see my contribution where I am requesting help from Orichalcum. Further, you can see my active hours in Wikipedia. Most importantly, you are totally ignored the two incidents happening at administrator noticeboard regarding Wikipedia:NOR and Wikipedia:Reliable sources. The one who placed me in Wikipedia: Socketpuppet investigations, TompaDompa‎ was already in discussion with me regarding the gross of the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train. He could not placed his edits because the reference, he placed is using Wikipedia as source. You can compare published date of his source[1] with the edit history of Wikipedia[2] When he was caught, he underwent to use administerator noticeboard: Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Conduct issues at Talk:List of highest-grossing R-rated films and Wikipedia:No original research/Noticeboard#User-performed currency conversions. Further, he placed me in Wikipedia: Socketpuppet investigations, so that I cannot comment in these two noticeboards. And, that's why I asked Anachronist‎ and Diannaa‎ to review and contradicts his statements.

For logged-out vandalism and harassment, I've indefinitely blocked you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 14:50, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Noting for the reviewing admin that Ichika Kasuga has emailed a number of admins asking for unblock. As for the merits of this...both the IP and this account have acted as if something the other said/did was them, so I'm reasonably confident in leaving the block. GeneralNotability (talk) 00:56, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
For the record, I did not receive email from this user, only a request to review the SPI on my talk page, which I did. In my view, GeneralNotability and NinjaRobotPirate, I think indef is excessive. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:01, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
Let me say this, Logging out just to vandalize an article and making a harassment other people is simply not very cool on Wikipedia. It is just making everyone look very bad on you. However, You need to think about your edits before publishing it on articles. Whatever you edit will be on a history logs and the other editors can see it.
If you use multiple accounts that is just to harass other people. They will do a CheckUser on you and they will know that you are a sockpuppet. I know that you are very upset at something but YOU NEED TO STEP UP AND GO DO SOMETHING.
Thank you for your consideration DFW FAA Brianvators (talk) 15:50, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

This edit of yours copied a rather lengthy passage verbatim from https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2020/12/17-1/thr-pulled-monster-hunter-film-delays-demon-slayer-mugen-train-anime-films-chinese-release.

The source said [...] Chinese entertainment company Bilibili has picked up the film for a wide release in the region after streaming the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime series as it aired in 2019. According to THR, Bilibilli was planning to have the film release in late December/early January to beat the Chinese New Years' lockout in early February for foreign movies, meaning the film might be delayed to March.

The 45-word passage after streaming the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime series as it aired in 2019. According to THR, Bilibilli was planning to have the film release in late December/early January to beat the Chinese New Years' lockout in early February for foreign movies is exactly identical in the source and your edit, and the rest was only minimally altered. This is not okay. TompaDompa (talk) 19:32, 15 June 2021 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ichika Kasuga, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Request reason:

I am Ichika Kasuga who has been blocked (editing tools has been disabled) since April 13, 2021, by admin @GeneralNotability for a week, and later on my block was upgraded indefinitely by @NinjaRobotPirate which a summary logged-out vandalism and harassment after that my email was disabled. This is my block log [1] Firstly, I want to hold myself responsible for my edits on the page. I violated many laws since I started Wikipedia on February 2021. Firstly, I would like to apologize to @Tenshibeat for all those edits that I made on the page Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train (diff:[2], [3], [4], [5], [6]). I am extremely sorry for my edits and fall to your feet for forgiveness. I hope you forgive me for my sins on this page. Secondly, I would like to apologize to @Diannaa for my edits of frequently re-adding the plot section on the page Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night without linking attribution to the original page Sword Art Online. This serious mistake of mine led to the copyright notice on my talk page and the deletion of 30 edit summary including many reverts done inappropriately by me. I again apologize by touching your feet and I hope you forgive me for such a grave mistake in Wikipedia. Thirdly, I apologize to @Anachronist, for making him fall in trouble due to my inappropriate reverts on the page of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train and Spirited Away, I also apologize him you contacting him to complain about other user's edits. I also beg you for forgiveness. Fourthly, I would apologize to @Betty Logan for inappropriately adding Wikipedia as a source to list including frequent unusual reverts in the page List of highest-grossing R-rated films [7] and List of highest-grossing animated films [8] which to led to extended protection on both the page. I sincerely apologize for my aggressive behavior at the talk page Talk:List of highest-grossing animated films (diff: [9] and [10]) Fiftly, I apologize to @Bovineboy2008 for my section "March 2021" in his talk page regarding the removal of US release date from the infobox of the page Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train [11] I believe that my words used in the paragraph were inappropriate and sound as harassment. I apologize to @Xeress for removing templates unnecessarily from the page Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (season 1). Finally, I apologize to @TompaDompa for driving consensus forcefully by using writing in long paragraphs on the talk page Talk:List of highest-grossing R-rated films. I once again apologize to all the admins, experienced editors, and IP address Users for my aggressive and unexpected behavior. The reviewing admin @NinjaRobotPirate on his blocking summary announced that I have harassed many users via email and social handles including Wikipedia on their respective talk page. I sincerely apologize for all my wrongdoing and fall to your feet and beg for forgiveness. I believe that I can only atone for my sin by begging forgiveness to all users that I have harassed in my entire editing period from February 2021 to my blocking date (April 13, 2021). I will be grateful if you all forgive me for all my sins. I am also ready to bear all the scoldings for all whom I have harassed and disturbed in the Wikipedia Community. I wished and hoped if there was a chance to prove my worth to the Wikipedia Community. But I think that I have already lost that chance and it's already too late to confess my sins in the Wikipedia Community. This is my third and final appeal for my unblock (after a unblock request on my talk page on April 13, 2021, and a UTRS appeal in July). I will not ask for another unblock request before December 2030.
