Your GA review of No (Meghan Trainor song)

[edit]

Hi Iceywarm2020, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad to see that you're getting started in various editing areas. There's lots to do around here! I saw your GA review at No (Meghan Trainor song), which was brought up as potentially concerning at Wikipedia_talk:Good_articles#Noticed_new_editor_passing_a_GA_music_article_without_following_review_guidelines. Since editors are largely pseudonymous at Wikipedia, we can't rely on credentials or seeming-like-an-otherwise-reasonable-person in order to trust each other. Instead we build trust by demonstrating over time and edits that we can contribute productively to the encyclopedia. I appreciate your enthusiasm at taking on the GA review of No (Meghan Trainor song), but please understand that a new user passing a review with minimal comments is going to look suspect to other editors. I've reverted your review for now, and will allow a more experienced editor to take over reviewing the article. But don't despair. You can build that community trust by improving the encyclopedia (I recommend improving an article! Ask at the WP:TEAHOUSE if you need help), and when you enter a new area, by moving somewhat slowly and showing your work (in this case, by leaving clear comments describing your review of the article) to demonstrate to other editors that you know what you're doing. If you feel in-over-your-head (a common feeling here), don't be afraid to ask for a hand. I hope all is well, and that you decide to stick around and help improve the encyclopedia. Happy editing!
