Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Icewindfiresnow! Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk pages and vote pages using four tildes, like this ~~~~. When you save the page, the tildes will expand into your name and the date. You should always sign talk pages, but not articles. If you have any questions, please see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! AnnH 22:30, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Please review WP:NPOV and Wikipedia:NPOV tutorial. I'm afraid your edits to abortion are completely inappropriate for our encyclopaedia, and could get you blocked if you continue. AnnH 22:30, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to American Civil Liberties Union, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may do so after the block expires.

Your recent edit to Silver Marches was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept our apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Click here for frequently asked questions about the bot and this warning. // Tawkerbot2 19:02, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Will (E@) T 19:06, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mithral Hall

[edit]

Do not replace "Mithral Hall" with "Mithril Hall." In Tolkien's works, it is spelled "mithril," but in D&D, it is spelled "mithral." JarlaxleArtemis 02:44, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop changing this spelling, unless you can provide a good reason why the spelling should be changed. Petros471 19:47, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I got your email, but can't really comment on the issue. I suggest you post the information here/on the relevant article talk pages for the editors of those articles to review. However right you think you are, it is not a good idea to continue editing against consensus of other editors- it is better to discuss the issues on the article talk page. Cheers, Petros471 21:08, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Band

[edit]

Please do not use Wikipedia to promote your band. It has been reviewed by the community and it does not meet our requirement for notability. See WP:BAND. Further disruption of the project may result in the a block on your editing here. -Will Beback 20:45, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been indefinitely blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. -Will Beback 04:57, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
