Welcome!

Hello, Ibunties, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Sangram Singh have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or you can type {{helpme}} on your user page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  NeilN talk to me 13:04, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As with NeilN above, I've also reverted you. Please do not add unsourced information, especially about living people. If/when you do find sources for that, please note that you also must write neutrally, meaning you can't say things like "world class wrestler". If you have questions, please ask, but please do not keep adding that unsourced info, as it will be reverted. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:33, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ibunties, if you don't stop adding unsourced information, I will have to request that you be blocked. Please stop and discuss the matter, or, better yet, find sources for the claims. Qwyrxian (talk) 14:43, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I saw on User Talk:NeilN that you claimed to be a member of Singh's official team. Two things: if that is true, you should usually not be editing the article directly per our policy on conflict of interests. Your editing, in fact, is the exact reason why we recommend against it: your editing was non-neutral and unsourced. However, even if you are "on his team", you still must provide reliable sources to support the things you want to add. Even if Singh himself came on Wikipedia and verified his identity, even he would be required to add sources for everything other than basic biographical information. This is how Wikipedia works: information must be verified by sources--especially extraordinary claims, like winning major competitions. If you edit that article to add the info again, this account will be blocked. Qwyrxian (talk) 12:02, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Elli avram has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Lsmll 09:42, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Elli avram requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.apunkachoice.com/names/ell/elli_avram/cid_347269/biography/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lsmll 11:48, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
