[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Armenia, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Iryna Harpy (talk) 23:07, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
Re
[edit]Hello Iryna, thank you for the notification. As I am new to editing, please suggest how could I change the pronunciation of the word 'Armenia' in the Armenia article. In English, the 'e' in 'Armenia' should be pronounced as 'ε', not the way contributors have written in the article. (Referance: Paris Herouni, Armenians and Old Armenia) (Iamcool2014 (talk) 10:33, 20 August 2014 (UTC))
- Hi. What is being presented is the standard English pronunciation of Armenia. I've never encountered it as being pronounced as an "ε". In Slavic and many other languages, yes, the 'e' is pronounced as you describe it, but not in the English language. Please check the pronunciation here and here. Hope this helps! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:21, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hello Iryna.
Yes, I know that the standard pronunciation is [Armi:nia], but in fact, Armenians have had a king named Armen [Armεn]. Thus, the name of the country becomes Armεnia. And then, the real spelling of the word is Armennia, with double n, so people can pronounce it as 'ε' and not 'i:'. I know you are not going to (let me) change the pronounciation, because you are convinced that I am wrong, but all the Armenians and even radiophysicist Paris Herouni in his book 'Armenians and Old Armenia' (being a perfect English speaker), has mentioned specifically the importance of pronouning [Armεnia], and thus in his whole book he has used 'Armennia'. Thank you for your understanding.
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:39, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Zorats Karer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vorotan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:18, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hello. I am sorry, but I have not put any links to disambiguation pages in any articles. Thank you :)
- Incorrect. Please see your edit here. It would be appreciated if you could disambiguate Vorotan by pointing it to the correct article. I am fairly certain that you mean Vorotan River, but you may have intended Vorotan, Sisian (which redirects to Vorotan, Syunik (west)). Thank you. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:25, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Django (2014 film)
[edit]Hello Iamcool2014,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Django (2014 film) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. scope_creep 10:06, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:The change of Earth Axis Incline and Eras evolution (The Carahunge Period).png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:The change of Earth Axis Incline and Eras evolution (The Carahunge Period).png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:15, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
License tagging for File:114 High School.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:114 High School.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:05, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
File source problem with File:114 High School.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:114 High School.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:07, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:Artur Avanesov.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Artur Avanesov.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 07:47, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
