Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as 2017 in video gaming, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Justin Bieber. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 04:06, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Justin Bieber. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 16:30, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Pacific Motorway (Brisbane–Brunswick Heads)‎ a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Please note that a move for this article should be discussed first as it has been contentious in the past - see previous discussions on the talk page Evad37 [talk] 06:13, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Evad37 [talk] 06:16, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Pacific Motorway

[edit]

With regards to your suggestion that the Pacific Motorway continues to Ballina, do you have any reliable sources? As of the last move discussion, sources indicated that the Pacific Motorway ends at Brunswick Heads, while the M1 route does continue further as Pacific Highway (M1). (Note that I have reverted your edit [1] on the redirect page – the proper discussion venue is the article's talk page, Talk:Pacific Motorway (Brisbane–Brunswick Heads)) - Evad37 [talk] 09:45, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Iainturville1 (talk) 06:05, 11 March 2017 (UTC) The motorway was extended to Ballina in December 2015. It is mentioned a few times in this page Pacific Highway (Australia)[reply]
