War of The Bucket Edit
[edit]Dreams of Horses, You recently reverted a change to the War of the Bucket page regarding the counting of Bologna's town bucket under losses was unnecessary, however considering the theft of the bucket by Modenese soldiers is what kicked off the war in the first place, I believe it would be quite topical to either include the loss of the bucket by the city state of Bologna under "Casualties and Losses", or under "Result" in the infobox. Thank you, 99.234.48.18 (talk) 18:42, 1 November 2015 (UTC)

New Companies delsort category
[edit]Hi I dream of horses: Just a heads up that a new deletion sorting page was created on 16 October 2015 for companies, located at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Companies. Thanks for your work in performing deletion sorting on Wikipedia. North America1000 16:39, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
Out of vuriosity, what was the point of the China Jinping Underground Laboratory "cleanup"?
[edit]I'm looking over the changes, and nothing looks better, so I'm somewhat sincerely confused about the point of this edit. I'm thinking of reverting some of them, but I'd like to discuss it first. I want ahead and reverted the whole thing, but I'm willing to be persuaded. Could you enlighten me?
- Putting the
{{redirect}}
hatnote before the infobox drops the infobox down a line, which looks uglier, especially as the hatnote is short and doesn't need the width. - Substituting
{{Citation needed}}
for{{Fact}}
is a complete no-op to the rendered text and clutters editing a bit. It's not exactly worse, but definitely no better. - When I have some footnotes with a
{{rp}}
suffix, I prefer to put that at the end, because [1][2]:3 is more legible than [1]:3[2]. If both have pages ([1]:3[2]:4), it can't be helped, but otherwise putting the one with a page number suffix at the end makes it a bit easier to read. (Maybe [1]:3 [2]?)
None of these are significant enough I'd be likely to make an edit to an article just to make those changes, which is why I wonder why you did. Can you explain?
Thanks! 71.41.210.146 (talk) 11:31, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
- I was using AWB, which is something that is explicitly used for minor edits. All of the edits I did were to make articles look standardized, both from the edit box and outside of it. I also couldn't see that what I did only had the effect of making the article uglier. --I dream of horses (My edits) @ 15:36, 4 November 2015 (UTC)

WKNC-FM
[edit]Hi, you reverted my change to WKNC FM. I can understand why you did not find it constructive; however, the information that is currently there is absolutely false, and leaving such information up on Wikipedia is not particularly constructive. If my change was not useful, then it should, at the very least, be removed. Saying that the "K" stands for "Kollege" comes off one as clearly wrong but second as condescending to the actual nature behind the name. Does this make sense?
Thanks, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.76.177.125 (talk) 19:20, November 9, 2015
- Perhaps just remove that line entirely. If you get reverted, start a discussion. --I dream of horses (My edits) @ 22:14, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
Cloth Diaper Page
[edit]Wow- you are fast I dream of horses!
I though it'd help other moms if they saw what some of the cloth diaper products are. I was hoping to do it for a lot of the Cloth Diaper page.
I feel like moms often don't know anything about cloth diapering, and that this was good information for an encyclopedia.

Vulcan Inc
[edit]Hi I dream of horses. Please explain to me what edit is promotional on the Vulcan Inc page and I'll be happy to rephrase or remove. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordanatvulcan (talk • contribs) 00:22, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Jordanatvulcan: Unfortunately, a lot of the wording since you've started contributing to the article has turned promotional.
- Before you started editing in August, the intro was "Vulcan Inc. is a company which holds the business assets of Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, and Jody Allen. It was founded in 1986. It is headquartered in Seattle, Washington." While it was a short intro, every single sentence stated a fact. The only problem was the lack of length; honestly, while not ideal, that's not much of a problem.
- In contrast "Vulcan Inc. is a company that creates and advances a variety of endeavors and initiatives with the primary focus of changing and improving the way people live, learn, do business and experience the world." has a lot of words, but tells me very little. It also has a promotional feel to it.
- And the above is only one example. I could, if I wanted to, pick through the article and tell what is promotional and what isn't. That might be a bit overwhelming. Perhaps you should learn about weasel words and peacock phrasing by clicking on the links in this sentences. --I dream of horses (My edits) @ 00:38, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

Russo-Circassian War
[edit]Alright for one, you changed what I had corrected back to what it was before, which was incorrect. I KNOW that it is incorrect because I AM CIRCASSIAN. The Circassians believed in a number of Gods and Goddesses before the Russo-Circassian War. But when they came in contact with Turkey, they were converted to Islam. It was incorrect when it stated that Circassian were Christian. Yes Some are but not all of them. I for instance am a Circassian Muslim. I come from a long line of Circassians. Everyone in my family married to a Circassian. My great-grandfather, fought in the Russo-Circassian War, so for you to be correcting me on changing a incorrect statement to a correct one is, and i use this word seriously, stupid. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Circassian-Know-It-All (talk • contribs) 01:19, 19 November 2015 (UTC)

You reverted an edit I made to this page https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Robert_L._Howard that Clarified that this Medal of Honor - Heroic Soldier was NOT the Rapist and Murder of Hannah Williams. Please re-instate my edit minus the duplicate url for the Hannah Williams page to avoid any misunderstandings where by people might think Col. Howard was a child rapist and murder. Thank You.
AirborneGator — Preceding unsigned comment added by AirborneGator (talk • contribs) 1:32, November 19, 2015
- @AirborneGator: Unfortunately, Robert L. Howard shares a name with a child murderer and rapist. We have to have that link at top of the article to avoid confusion. I think most people understand that the medal of honor recipient isn't one and the same as the child murderer in spite of that link. --I dream of horses (My edits) @ 01:50, 19 November 2015 (UTC) (added ping at 01:19, 23 November 2015 (UTC)....I swear I already added it)

Hello, I have a different IP address but I was the person who asked you for help with the Malaysian ethnic groups template, thank you for doing that. I just have something else to ask I made an edit request on the talk page (Talk:Diwali#Semi-protected edit request on 9 November 2015) but it seems to be that no one is interested in inserting the information that I have found. I have unfortunately been repeatedly ignored on this page, despite asking other users who knew about this request. This was information that I added however it was removed by another user without any explanation. This is what should be added, it should be added to the Australia section of the page.
On the Australian external territory of Christmas Island, Deepavali is a celebrated annual holiday alongside many other celebrations common in Australia, Malaysia as well as local celebrations of the island.[1][2]
