Speedy deletion notice
[edit]A tag has been placed on Chekov Vodka, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Seraphimblade 16:06, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:27, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Railway Icons
[edit]File:BSicon AKRZ-UKoq.svg and File:BSicon AKRZ-UKuq.svg have both been moved to commons - the Railway/Waterway icons are all stored on commons, none on en-wiki (partly because they were started by the Germans, and both wikis want to use them - hence the odd naming system). There are also more categories for the icons on commons. Ronhjones (Talk) 00:54, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:
I was blocked by someone who didn't fill in the template details. My block notice just says: "The account $7 has been blocked (disabled) by $1 for the following reason(s): $2".
After more investigation I found out it's a massive IP block ban even though I'm logged in
Decline reason:
Procedural decline since this account is not blocked and therefore I cannot unblock it. What I suggest is that you go to WP:IPECPROXY and see about getting IP block exemption. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:34, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
