Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. While the content of your edit may be true, I have removed it because its depth or nature of detail are not consistent with our objectives as an encyclopedia. I recognize that your edit was made in good faith and hope you will familiarize yourself with what Wikipedia is not so we may collaborate in the future. Thank you! [edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Cut the Rope, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Werieth (talk) 01:20, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Wikipedia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Inside (video game). Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. czar 04:42, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please, what you have said is wrong. I DO NOT revert/undo others' contributions repeatly on Inside (video game) article. This is the first time I've done that, not nth time! I have reverted to my latest edit because the administrator removed my correct information (on purpose, I guess). Inside is stylized as INSIDE, as can be seen on Xbox One store page, and it is NOT WRITTEN IN CAPITAL FORM. Titles which comes from Playdead are often capitalized. Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle—if your proposed addition is contested, take it to the talk page for discussion. There's no good in reverting back and forth. czar 07:22, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (New York (2019 serif typeface)) has been reviewed!

[edit]

Thanks for creating New York (2019 serif typeface).

User:Blythwood while reveiwing this page as a part of our page curation process had the following comments:

Any chance of adding sources for specific dates? I find on Twitter mention of it on Jun 3 but I'm worried it may be a timezone thing. Otherwise looks good–glad to be seeing my "typefaces with optical sizes" category filling out!

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Blythwood}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

@Blythwood:

I found this capture on June 3, 2019 at 11 p.m. GMT: http://web.archive.org/web/20190603230121/https://developer.apple.com/fonts/. I guess that confirms the date. About your "typefaces with optical sizes" category, I just copied from San Francisco typeface page, glad you made it. This is my first time creating the page on Wikipedia.

Problem with your custom signature

[edit]

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. 05:12, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

How It's Made... narrator revisions

[edit]

Well, logic says that if Fine narrated the 2007-08 season, (which it was how it was shown, prior to my attempted edit) then it stood to reason that Brooks Moore did all the other seasons. But I'm so awfully happy that I noticed that Moore's run could use some clarification, seeing that ever other narrators' run (Fine and all of the Canadian ones) were highlighted, just so you could jump all over my attempt at clarification.
